Dr. Nandkumar Katakdhond

Dr. Nandkumar Katakdhond completed his MBBS in 1993 & Post-Graduation training in Orthopaedics in 1997 from Seth GS Medical College & KEM hospital, Mumbai, India. Dr. Nandkumar Katakdhond completed Fellowship in Sports Medicine & Joint Replacement from Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, USA in 2001. In 2003 he was awarded the Sicot Fellowship with SICOT Diploma Orthopedics at SICOT Egypt conference in Cairo. He was recipient of the AADO Scholarship in Hong Kong in year 2004 for advanced training in complex trauma & Pelvic Acetabular surgeries, Sendai in 2005 for advanced training in Joint Replacement surgeries of Hip & Knee; Cemented as well as Uncemented fixation of the joints under prof. He worked in the Department of Orthopaedics at LTMG Hospitals & Medical College, Sion, Mumbai, India as Assistant Professor from year 1998 & was then promoted to Associated Professor in the department of orthopaedics at Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College and Hospital, India till he joined Apollo and Evercare Hospital Dhaka for a period of 12 years. He was also a Post-Graduate teacher and examiner for MS orthopaedics at Mumbai University & Maharashta university of health Science.
