Pioneering the way to treat hormone imbalances in men and women with Bio

Too many thyroid patients are being handed a prescription, number and sent home without a real conversation.

Not because doctors don't care. But because the standard of care wasn't built to look beyond TSH.

And that gap is where so many people fall through.

In this reel I talk about what's being missed, what to ask for, and why your symptoms deserve as much attention as your lab report.

Watch till the end. 🎗️

Fatigue. Brain fog. Hair loss. Weight shifts. Cold hands.

If any of these feel familiar, your thyroid may be silently struggling.

These are the signs I watch for in the clinic every day. They reveal why your energy, focus, and metabolism might not be where you want them to be. Supporting your thyroid isn’t just about medication, it’s about building habits that help your body function better.

Pay attention to your nutrition and protein intake, manage stress, prioritize consistent sleep, and ensure key nutrients like iodine, selenium, iron, and vitamin D are in place.

Early awareness is everything. Don’t wait until symptoms worsen. DM me and let’s understand what your body is saying and make a plan that actually works.

Somehow we all became experts at taking care of everything around us and beginners at taking care of ourselves.

I say this as someone who has been guilty of it too. I have sat through back-to-back clinics without eating. Told myself I would drink water later. Postponed my own check-up because there was always something more urgent.

Doctors are often the worst at this. We spend all day telling people to slow down, then go home and do the exact opposite.

When it comes to ourselves, it becomes “not yet,” “maybe next week,” “when things settle down.”
Things rarely settle down.

Book the appointment. Get the test done. Ask the question you have been holding back.
Your health deserves at least that much.

Maa, one of the greatest gifts of my life has simply been being loved by you.
Growing up, I never fully understood how much of yourself you gave quietly every single day. I only knew that no matter what happened, you made life feel safe. That in itself was everything.

It is only now, both through the years and through the women I meet in clinic, that I truly understand what that kind of love actually costs. How mothers carry so much so gracefully that nobody ever thinks to ask if they need carrying too.

This Mother's Day I hope every woman who gives so freely feels that same love find its way back to her.
Happy Mother's Day Maa. I love you. 🤍

I was at a dinner recently and someone asked what I do. When I said hormones and longevity medicine, they assumed I help people live longer.

I said actually, I help people live better. And those are not the same thing.

There is a difference between the two that most people have never been offered. The gap between surviving and actually living is where most people in their 40s and 50s are sitting right now.

Functioning on the outside. Running on empty on the inside. Telling themselves this is just what this age feels like.

It does not have to feel like this.

So here is a question worth sitting with today. Would you say you are living or just getting through it?
That answer is worth paying attention to.

"I’m snapping at everyone I love and I don't know why."

I hear this all the time in clinic. And the first thing I always say is please stop blaming yourself.

This kind of irritability, the kind that feels bigger than the situation and comes out of nowhere, is rarely about your personality. In perimenopause, the hormones that kept you emotionally steady start fluctuating. Your brain feels it before you can even explain it.

Three things that actually help before we look at the labs:

More fibre: It helps your body clear the excess estrogen adding to the load.

More quiet: Even 20 minutes of low stimulation helps your nervous system settle.

Restoring what is missing: Because no breathing exercise fixes a progesterone deficiency.

On a scale of 1 to 10, how much is this showing up in your life right now?

Comment below. DM me "CALM" and let’s look at the data. ❤️

Introducing the Summer Series, Episode 1. 🌞
The more water you drink, the more dehydrated you can feel.

Here's why -

Water doesn't hydrate you. Minerals do. When you sweat, you lose sodium, potassium, and magnesium the minerals that actually pull water into your cells.
What actually helps:

Morning: Water + pinch of sea salt + lemon

Day: Coconut water, bananas, leafy greens

Evening: Magnesium glycinate (not oxide)

Save this. Summer fatigue is often mineral depletion in disguise.

If you've tried all of this and still feel off it's time to look at your hormones.

One of the most common things I hear in clinic: "But my reports are normal so why do I feel like this?"

And honestly? It's one of the most important questions you can ask.

Because hormone reference ranges were never designed to tell you how well you're functioning. They were designed to rule out disease. There's a big difference.

📊 Normal ranges = averages across a large, mixed population

📊 They tell you what's common, not what's optimal

📊 You can be "in range" and still feel completely off

Symptoms that get dismissed as "normal" too often:

➡️Constant fatigue even after 8 hours of sleep

➡️ Brain fog and poor concentration

➡️ Unexplained weight gain

➡️ Anxiety, low mood, irritability

➡️ Hot flashes or irregular cycles

Feeling "not sick" and feeling truly well are two very different things and that gap is exactly where I work.

If your numbers say normal but your body says otherwise, it's time for a deeper conversation.

I'm here for it. One DM away. 📩

Save this. Share it with someone who's been told they're "fine" but doesn't feel it. 🌿
