A healthy diet doesn’t have to fall apart the moment real life gets busy.

Missed a meal time? Ate out? Skipped a workout? That doesn’t erase your progress. What matters is what you choose most of the time.

Instead of chasing a “perfect” diet, build one that works around your workdays, travel, social plans and unexpected schedules. Keep practical backups ready, make the best choice available, and simply get back to your routine with the next meal.

Consistency will always take you further than perfection.

Save this for the days when your routine doesn’t go according to plan.

The “I don’t eat sugar” line sounds great… until the mango shake arrives.

Sugar isn’t only about the spoonful you add to your tea or coffee. What you drink matters too, and large shakes can pack in far more sugar and calories than you realise.

Healthy choices start with looking at the whole picture, not just one ingredient.

“Healthy hai” doesn’t automatically mean “jitna chahe utna.” 🌰🥑🍫

Nuts, makhanas, dark chocolate, avocado, dates… all of them can absolutely be part of a balanced diet. But even nutritious foods can be calorie-dense, and portions still matter.

You don’t need to fear these foods or cut them out. You simply need to understand how much works for your body, your goals, and your overall diet.

Because healthy eating isn’t just about choosing the right foods. It’s also about choosing the right quantity.

Save this reel as your little portion reminder. 💚

Healthy eating shouldn’t make your life harder.

If your diet only works when you avoid your favourite foods, skip social plans, fear rice and roti, or constantly “detox”, how sustainable is it really?

A good diet makes space for real life. Your everyday meals, fruits, eating out, celebrations and festive favourites can all fit in when you understand the right quantity, quality and frequency.

No unnecessary restrictions. No complicated rules. Just a balanced approach you can actually follow.

Festive food doesn’t have to be all or nothing. 💚💛❤️

Know what to enjoy freely, what to have mindfully and what’s better kept occasional. Make informed choices, enjoy your favourites and celebrate without the guilt.

Cutting down on sodium is about more than simply using less salt. Many everyday foods like sauces, pickles, packaged snacks, instant foods, breads and biscuits can quietly add significant sodium to your daily intake.

The smarter approach? Look at your entire day’s food choices and make label-reading a habit. Check the sodium content of packaged foods before adding them to your cart. Small, informed choices can make a meaningful difference over time.

Share this with someone who says, “But I hardly eat any salt!” 🧂

That vada pav wrapped in yesterday’s newspaper? It comes with a hidden side of lead, cadmium, and germs.

Maharashtra has now banned newspaper-wrapped food, and as a dietitian, I couldn’t be happier. Printing ink is loaded with heavy metals and chemicals that leach straight into hot, oily snacks. Add the dust and germs old paper picks up, and your favourite street food turns into a slow health risk.

The fix is simple. Ask for butter paper or food-grade wrapping, and say no to newspaper. Your body will thank you.

Save this and share it with someone who still eats off the news.
