We have graduated more than 350 optometrists and at LCOO beside teaching Optometry we are actively involved in community eye care programs like Mumbai Childhood blindness , Sight for kids and an on going Mega refractive error project Mumbai Eye Care Campaign.

Strengthening Global Academic Partnerships with University of Western Australia. 😃 The University of Western Australia (UWA) is opening its first Indian campuses in Mumbai (Andheri) and Chennai (Porur) in August 2026, becoming the first Australian Group of Eight university to establish a physical presence in India.🎉
It was our absolute privilege to host Prof. Amit Chakma, Honorable, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Western Australia, along with his esteemed delegation on their visit to Lotus Eye Hospital and College of Optometry.✨️ Sir, shared an inspiring vision highlighting how diverse perspectives fuels innovation and drives meaningful impact. His words left everyone motivated to think bigger and work together toward shared goals.🙏

Lotus College of Optometry celebrated convocation ceremony 👩‍🎓👨‍🎓for the Batch of 2020.😃🎓 It’s not just a celebration of academic achievement; it is a celebration of perseverance, purpose, and the promise of a bright professional future. 🌟✨️
The occasion was graced by our esteemed trustees—Mrs. Anahita Dastur, Mr. Pramod Kulkarni, Mr. Hiten Motani, and Mr. Bhavin Kothari—whose presence added dignity and inspiration to the program.

Mr. Bhavin Kothari delivered the welcome address, stating that graduates are leaving the institution at a historic moment for the profession of optometry in India, with expanded practicing rights, growing public recognition, with broader career opportunities and encouraged them to make most of it. 😇

Our chief guest, Mr. Navin Shah, highlighted the hard work, resilience, and accomplishments of the graduating cohort in his inspiring address.🙏

Mr. Pancham Kulkarni administered the professional oath to the students honoring the transition from learning to serving.🤚

Guest of Honour Mr. Ketan Parikh extended his warm wishes to the graduates and presented them with gifts.🎁
The ceremony concluded with vote of thanks presented by Ms. Mumtaz Qazi followed by heartfelt congratulations. We was once again shower you all with good wishes.❤️

Mr. Sohel Shaikh for winning first prize in poster presentation for his study on the relationship between optometrists and interdisciplinary health-care professionals. Your effort and passion made it happen. 😇

Huge congratulations to Ms. Mumtaz Qazi 🌟

We’re proud to celebrate her Outstanding Scientific Paper Presentation at the 76th National Conference of IAOH – OCCUCON 2026, organized by AOH Jamnagar. This achievement truly reflects her academic excellence, dedication, and passion for research. She presented study which was conducted on 425 drivers, validating the efficacy of the Visiololite 4K device, developed by FIM Medical SAS — a leader in the national French occupational health market.

A strong example of impactful research meeting real-world occupational health needs 🚗🔬✨
