Missing my tiny girl a little extra today 🥹

We 3 sisters have a bond thats woven with love & laughter, with whispered secrets & stories untold, With fights & disagreements that not got the best out of us only because it had one single agenda, that is to love each other unconditionally.
Thinking of my growing years, I always prayed that we never grow apart, emotionally & physically, which in all means, I always prayed that you never travel abroad for your studies, Selfish me!!! Only because I always wanted you to be around through the ebbs & flows of life.
Little did I know, you would grow up so fast to see you as a married woman now!
In this tapestry of life, we 3 are stitched with grace and forever intertwined 😘♥️

While everyone's talking about how they wanna MAKE IT BIG in 2024,

but here's a hard truth to bite.

2023 has been a year of many lessons, while you only saw some glamorous part of here were some realistic parts that I experienced;

1: 2023 was all about highs being high and lows being way too low than I could take hold of;

LESSON: I discovered that vulnerability is not a weakness but a reservoir of strength. Opening up, sharing fears, and embracing authenticity became my compass. In vulnerability, I found genuine connections and the courage to face life's storms.

2: I had a target of reaching 300k this year but life doesn't always go as planned, Many days & weeks of my days didn't follow the passage of structure

LESSON: Amidst the grand narratives, I learned to savor the tiny joys—the aroma of morning coffee, the warmth of a cozy blanket, the laughter shared over a simple meal.

These small fragments of happiness, I realized, have the power to light up the entire mosaic of life while number games are just temporary!

3: In the beginning I made a long list of things I would do for my physical fitness, but all went down in dumps as I failed miserably to keep up with my motivation.

LESSON: Instead of unrealistic expectations, I decided to work on what was pragmatic FOR ME. I.e Instead of expecting myself to workout each day, I began doing so sporadically, in bite sized portions that was digestible for my mind. 

And most Importantly, 2023 nudged me to keep only those close who were good for my mental health.

And last but not the least master the art of letting go. Whether it was expectations, regrets, or the weight of yesterday,

I learned that releasing the unnecessary baggage creates space for new beginnings.

Sometimes, the most profound growth happens in the gentle release.

2024, here I’m am ready with another list of practical goals this year.
