A young 30 years old patient Mr. Zubin had stroke paralytic attack 2 years back and was also suffering from Myositis ossification left hip joint which was barrier for his rehabilitation. He was undergoing physiotherapy (that is land therapy) with another physiotherapist for two years. The orthopedician had advised the patient to wait for some days and do not go for Myositis ossification surgery as the surgery was difficult.

He later consulted me for Aqua physiotherapy for stroke rehabilitation and Myositis ossification and was treated by me for the same. After starting Aqua physiotherapy within 6 months the hardened bone tissues formed inside the muscle became soft as examined by orthopedic and the advised surgery was performed by the orthopedician.

The Aqua physiotherapy still continues post-surgery and many exercises which were contraindicated on land because of gravitational force are performed easily in water. Now patient can walk independently on land.

Aqua physiotherapy is a therapy which always makes movements easy and possible in water which are difficult and restrictive on land due to gravitational force.

35 years old male patient with right neck femur fracture operated with intramedullary nail fixation. patient was not able to stand and walk without support ( with the help of walker) on land since 2 months.on first seccion of aqua physiotherapy patient has started standing and walking alone.
the main principle of water buoyancy.. helps patient to remain in upright position, there was off loading on hip joints, very less gravity,so patient doesnt feel any weight any pain resulting in early activation and rehabilitation of injured muscles.

Charcot-Marie-Tooth is a degenerative nerve disease that usually appears in adolescence or early adulthood.
Muscle weakness, decreased muscle size, decreased sensation, hammer toes and high arches are symptoms.
