Sometimes, chronic illness isn’t just about your body feeling like it has betrayed you.
It’s also about slowly beginning to reject the body you live in pushing it, resenting it, blaming it, and feeling guilty when it can’t do what it used to.

That constant conflict can be exhausting.
And over time, the grief, anger, guilt, and pressure to “keep going” can become burnout.

Healing may not always mean accepting your illness. Sometimes, it begins with learning to stop fighting yourself for having it.

Event: Chronic Illness Support Group
Time and date: 15th July | 10:30 AM

A space to talk about the parts of chronic illness that often go unseen including the relationship we have with our own bodies.

Support Group for People with Chronic Illness takes place on 28th June, Sunday from 10:30am to 12:30pm.

Burnout is a valid and expected outcome of managing a chronic illness. Burnout doesn't mean you're not managing your condition well, rather it is a call for the body to slow down and question the support and system around us.

Burnout, while can't entirely be prevented, it can be managed.

Our support group invites folks dealing with chronic illness to show up as they are, to invite their burnout into this space and through collective efforts manage it.

It’s the ache of unfinished stories, silent endings, and all the “what could’ve been.”

This week, we're holding space for the unspoken grief for the ones that got away, the almosts, and the maybes.
You’re allowed to feel it. You’re allowed to heal from it.

Swipe through to understand this tender kind of loss and how to gently move forward.

In our fast-paced, comparison-driven world, it’s easy to internalize career loss as a personal shortcoming. But career loss is a human experience—not a moral failure.

What if career loss wasn’t failure, but an inflection point? A space to pause, reflect, and reclaim what matters?

Grief is a layered emotion, processing grief often is a deeply personal experience.

The 3Rs model of grief highlights certain elements- Rituals, Regrets, Resentments Appreciation that are very normal parts of the process of grieving. If you notice yourself resonating with these expressions, we offer a window into what can be done to help these feelings.

Our Hidden Grief Support group offers a much deeper insight into the process of grief. We will be meeting on 8th of June, more details to follow soon.

Your hidden grief has a voice—and it deserves to be heard.

Join our Hidden Grief Support Group and connect with others navigating silent, unspoken losses.
Because grief doesn’t have to be loud to be real. You’re not alone.

We often carry grief that society tells us isn’t “worthy” of mourning—lost dreams, changes in identity, broken relationships, or missed milestones. But every loss that touches your heart matters.

This space is for you—to be seen, to be held, and to begin healing in community.

Grounded in an understanding of systemic issues, she holds space with awareness of gender dynamics and intersectionality.

Her approach is reflective, and tailored to what feels safe and empowering for you. Therapy with Hiya is about recognising your inherent strengths and amplifying your qualities to become the best version of yourself.

If she’s not exploring new cafés to fulfil her caffeine addiction, you’ll find her watching cat memes or binging movies and TV shows.
