🌸 Creating Safe Conversations Around Menstrual & Intimate Health 🌸
It was a privilege to conduct an interactive session on Intimate Hygiene and Menstrual Health for young girls from Std. 8–12 of Gundecha Education Academy, Kandivali .
We spoke about topics that are often considered “too private” to discuss—menstruation, intimate hygiene, body changes, personal boundaries, body awareness and taking care of oneself.
The session was not just about sharing information, but about opening up conversations and helping girls feel comfortable asking questions without embarrassment or fear. 💗
✨ Understanding their changing bodies
✨ Practising healthy menstrual and intimate hygiene
✨ Recognising and respecting personal boundaries
✨ Knowing that they have the right to say NO to unwanted physical contact
✨ Understanding when and whom to approach when something doesn’t feel right
✨ Building confidence to speak up and seek help
Because knowledge builds confidence, and safe conversations build awareness.
A big thank you to the Principal Mrs. Sonu Arora for creating a safe and supportive environment where these important conversations could happen.
Let’s make talking about menstrual and intimate health normal—not taboo.
