A leader of immense administrative caliber, Shri Pawar’s commitment to the development of Maharashtra was unparalleled. The medical and dental fraternity recalls his proactive approach toward enhancing healthcare infrastructure and his support for professional education in the state.

His departure marks the end of an era in Maharashtra's governance. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Pawar family and his millions of followers during this time of profound grief. May his soul rest in eternal peace.

It was a privilege to once again attend the FDI World Dental Congress 2025 in Shanghai.

For me, the Congress is always more than just an event — it is an opportunity to meet friends and colleagues from across the world, exchange knowledge, and engage in meaningful discussions on the future of global oral health policies. 🦷💡

This year too, I was honored to represent India and contribute at the official FDI meetings, where together we worked towards shaping decisions that impact dentistry worldwide. Apart from representing the Indian Dental Association (IDA), it was personally fulfilling to share India’s perspective and be part of these collaborative efforts for advancing oral health globally
