✨ A Day Dedicated to Every Mother’s Health! 👣💖

It was truly an honor to be invited as a Panel Speaker at the wonderful Mother’s Day Celebration organized by KVO Patri Mahajan.

As a physiotherapist and foot & ankle specialist, I believe that our feet are the foundation of our body, yet they are often the most neglected—especially by mothers, who spend their lives caring for everyone else before themselves.

During my session, I spoke about how to choose the right footwear when you go shopping, the key points everyone should look for before buying footwear, and how the wrong footwear can contribute to foot, ankle, knee, and even back pain. I also demonstrated a few simple yet effective exercises that mothers can easily perform at home to relieve ankle and foot pain and keep their feet strong and healthy.

One of the highlights of the event was conducting foot scans for more than 200 mothers.
Each participant received a detailed foot assessment along with personalized guidance to help them understand their foot type and choose footwear best suited to their needs.

The response was truly overwhelming, and it was heartwarming to see so many mothers taking the first step towards prioritizing their own health.
Awareness is the first step toward prevention, and even small changes—like choosing the right footwear—can make a huge difference in long-term health.

A heartfelt thank you to KVO Patri Mahajan for inviting me and giving me this wonderful opportunity to spread awareness about foot health. Looking forward to many more such initiatives that empower people to take better care of themselves.

Because healthy feet lead to a healthier, happier life. ❤️👣

One of the biggest mistakes people make is buying footwear just because they saw it on TV or Instagram. Don’t fall for marketing gimmicks!

Every foot is different, and every condition needs a different solution. That’s why it’s important to get a detailed consultation and a foot scan before choosing your footwear.

Whether you have heel pain, plantar fasciitis, flat feet, diabetes, or any other foot or ankle problem, we have condition-specific footwear designed to provide the right support.

From heel cups for heel pain to specialized diabetic footwear and genuine arch-support footwear for flat feet, we have a wide range of options available at our clinic.

Visit us for a professional assessment, get your foot scanned, and choose the footwear that’s right for your feet—not what’s trending on social media.
Your feet deserve the right support, not just good marketing!”

📵 “Can I just record the exercises?” — It’s the most common question we hear in physiotherapy!
Here’s why we usually encourage you to learn instead of record. 👇
🧠 When you know you’ll record a video, your brain naturally pays less attention because it relies on the recording as a backup.
But when you actively watch, understand, and try to remember each movement, you’re training your brain and body together. This improves your neurocognitive function, motor learning, coordination, and muscle memory—all of which can contribute to a more effective recovery.
Recovery isn’t just about moving your muscles; it’s about teaching your brain the correct movement patterns.
So next time your physiotherapist demonstrates an exercise, give it your full attention, ask questions, practice it, and try to remember it. Your brain will thank you—and so will your body. 💙
Train your brain. Train your body. Recover smarter.

Your mattress might be silently contributing to your back pain… 👀 And the term “orthopaedic mattress”? Most of the time, it’s just marketing.

Recently, while shopping for a mattress, I kept hearing the same line everywhere — 👉 “Go for a hard mattress, that’s orthopaedic.”
It sounded convincing… until I discussed it with a spine specialist. That’s when I realised — there’s no universal “orthopaedic” mattress. What works is the right balance of support + comfort for YOUR body.

🚫 Let’s break a common myth: “Hard mattress is best for back pain”
Reality:
❌ Too hard → creates pressure points on shoulders & hips
❌ Too soft → your spine sinks like a hammock
Both can actually make your pain worse.

✅ What should you focus on instead?
✔ Natural Latex – Breathable, supportive, and adapts well to your body
✔ Memory Foam – Great for pressure relief (choose cooling variants)
✔ Pocket Spring – Ideal if you share your bed (less movement disturbance)
👉 Remember: There is no one-size-fits-all mattress.

🛒 Before you buy, do THIS:
Don’t just sit on the edge. Lie down for at least 10–15 minutes in your usual sleeping position. That’s the only real test.

💡 I’ve created a simple checklist to help you choose the right mattress (based on your body & needs). Comment “MATTRESS” and I’ll share it with you.

Everyone is jumping into ice baths…
But are you using it right? ❄️

Ice baths can help reduce soreness, inflammation, and speed up recovery —
but they’re not a shortcut to fitness recovery.

👉 Use them after intense training, competitions, or tight schedules
👉 Avoid after regular gym or speed sessions
👉 Don’t skip the basics — warm-up, cool down, stretching,recovery , rest & sleep

Most importantly:
This is a short-term recovery tool, not a daily habit.

⚠️ Avoid if you have heart conditions or low cold tolerance.

Use ice baths smartly — not blindly.

Key takeaway:
Recovery isn’t about doing more… it’s about doing what’s right.

From international elite athletes at the French Open to Virat Kohli — everyone seems to be sipping this tangy drink 👀

But what exactly is Pickle Juice?

🥒 It’s a mix of water, high sodium, small amounts of potassium, vinegar (acetic acid), herbs & spices.

⚡ Why do athletes use it?
Research shows pickle juice can relieve muscle cramps within 30–90 seconds.

👉 Important:
It’s NOT a hydration drink.
It does NOT replace water, electrolytes, stretching, or load management.

Modern evidence suggests muscle cramps are often due to neuromuscular fatigue, not just electrolyte loss.

✔ Best used as a last-minute, on-ground option
✔ During acute cramps
✔ Late-game fatigue
✔ High-heat / high-intensity events
✔ When stretching isn’t immediately possible

💧 Usual dosage: 30–60 ml (sip or gargle)

🚨 Remember:
Pickle juice is an adjunct, not preventive care.

Save this for your next match or intense workout!
