Different Shades of Love is not a lecture,
but a gentle unfolding of what love means to each one of us. How the language of love is different in all types of relationships. Not just romantic ones. Bring your questions and leave with clarity and greater awareness.

A space to reflect, listen, share perspectives,
and explore the emotions that remind us we are all similar, yet beautifully unique.
And perhaps it is in those small, fleeting moments is when we truly begin to relate to one another and understand each other’s experiences a little more deeply.

Sometimes, staying small wasn’t insecurity —
it was survival.

When visibility once came with judgment, rejection, or humiliation,
we learned that being unnoticed felt safer than being seen.

So confidence can feel unnatural.
Attention can feel exposing.
And growth can feel risky.

But this isn’t weakness.
It’s learned self-protection.

Healing begins when we slowly teach ourselves that visibility is no longer danger —
and that we don’t have to disappear to deserve safety. 🌱

In unhealed families, children carry what adults can’t. The belief becomes: My worth comes from carrying.

As an adult, rest feels unsafe.
Letting go feels selfish.

That belief was formed under pressure, not truth.
You weren’t “born responsible.” You adapted.
You learned to hold everything together because no one else did.

But carrying everything isn’t a strength — it’s survival mode.
And survival mode isn’t where you’re meant to stay.

It’s okay to put things down. It’s okay to not fix everything.
Your worth was never meant to be measured by how much you carry.
