Dr Prasanna Rameshwar Singh Lodh, GMCite batch 2007. General secretary 2009-2010, President , Students'council MUHS 2009 - 2010. Cleared India's toughest and most coveted UPSC examination with All India Rank 524. A die hard GMCite hailing from a rural and humble background has cracked this All India Examination. Married to Dr Anuradha (GMC batch 2011) her support for his studies was very crucial. Both have set an example of mutual cooperation for sustainable and progressive marriage. When asked about future goals Dr Prasanna a prospective IPS (Indian Police Service) officer said his agenda would be to abide and uphold the constitutional values, protect the rights of Women, Children and minorities, to advance the strategic interests of our country. Our best wishes to this GMCite who will be one of many jewels from our Alma mater .... Chaka Raka .....

175 years! Legend says that this is almost equal to the time required to read Park's textbook of Preventive and Social Medicine😜
15th May 2020 marks the 175th anniversary of JJ Hospital and what better time to say "175 years of patient care" than during these testing times of the COVID-19 Pandemic where the hospital staff is working tirelessly to contain something which has threatened the whole of humanity.
We are proud to be associated with an institute of such historical significance and hope that its glory never ceases increasing.❤️

Greetings everyone!
We, as GMCITES feel proud to be associated with the prestigious institution governed by our Dean, Dr.Pallavi Saple ma'am who, allong with the help of Honourable Assistant Commissioner of BMC, Mr Prashant Gaikwad, Nodal Officer for JJ Hospital Shrimati Vinita Singhal and our own GMCSA made possible to convert our Grant Medical College Students' Association Gymkhana into a (Covid Care Centre 2) CCC2 facility of 75 beds which will be attended by a team of 4 doctors and 5 nurses!
Not only basic healthcare facilities but also some other necessary amenities needed by the patients will be provided.
At such strenuous times of COVID 19 pandemic affecting not only India but the complete world, this institution have contributed a little seeing to the increasing number of cases in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
We stand with the COVID warriors and will continue to do so whenever needed!
Again, our greatest acknowledgments goes to our dean ma'am, GMCSA, and our associates to help fight corona amidst this Rapidly spreading Pandemic!
