30+ children dead in Balaghat, MP — and still, most people haven’t even heard about it.

The right therapy should have a clear goal — not just another appointment on the calendar.

Comment “THERAPY” if you want more simple guidance on choosing and tracking therapy.

Day 64 of Understanding Your Child

“Autism is genetic… but no one in our family has autism.”

Genetic doesn’t always mean inherited.

Autism usually involves many genetic differences. Some may be inherited, while others can occur as new genetic changes.

So yes — a child can be autistic even with no family history of autism.

And there is no simple blood test that can diagnose autism.

Comment “AUTISM” if you want more simple, evidence-based autism content.

Day 63/100 — Understanding Your Child

The milk mix parents keep asking me for. 👀

If you want a simple homemade option, save this recipe:

1 cup makhana
½ cup almonds
½ cup cashews
¼ cup pistachios
2 tbsp pumpkin/sunflower seeds

Dry roast, cool completely, grind finely and store in an airtight container.

Add 1–2 tsp to a glass of milk.

That’s it. Simple, homemade, no fancy “health drink” needed.

Save this for later & share it with a parent who keeps asking, “Milk mein kya daalein?” 😄

Day 61/100 — Understanding Your Child

“Speech delay” aur “language delay” same cheez nahi hote.

Speech is about how clearly a child says sounds and words.
Language is about what the child understands and how they use words to communicate.

A child can have difficulty with speech, language, or both — and the approach changes depending on what exactly is affected.

If you’re unsure what your child is struggling with, get it assessed rather than just waiting it out.

Comment SPEECH if you want to know when a speech/language assessment is needed.

Day 61/100 — Understanding Your Child

Joint family mein parenting ka sabse difficult part grandparents nahi hote — consistency hoti hai.

Har caregiver ka style alag ho sakta hai, and that’s okay.
Lekin jab screen time, food, sleep, tantrums aur discipline ke rules har adult ke saath change hote hain, bachche naturally confused hote hain.

Goal yeh nahi hai ki sab ek jaise parent karein.
Goal sirf itna hai ki kuch basic boundaries sabke liye same rahein.

Aur disagreements? Bachche ke saamne nahi. Baad mein calmly discuss kijiye.

Because children don’t need perfect parenting.
They need predictable boundaries. 🤍

Aapke ghar mein sabse zyada disagreement kis cheez ko lekar hota hai — screen time, food ya discipline?

Day 60/100 — 100 Days of Understanding Your Child

Autism is still surrounded by a lot of misinformation — and these myths can sometimes delay the right support for a child.

Better awareness leads to earlier understanding and better support.

Comment “AUTISM” to book a developmental assessment with me.

Save this reel and share it with another parent. 💛

Har cough ke liye cough syrup nahi hota. 👀

Different cough syrups contain different medicines — and each has a specific use, age group and indication.

So before giving your child “koi bhi cough syrup”, please check with your pediatrician.

Because treating the cause of the cough matters more than just suppressing it.

Save this reel & share it with a parent. 🤍

Comment “COUGH” and I’ll share a simple guide on which cough syrup ingredients are used for what.

Day 57/100

“Usko sab samajhta hai… bas sunta nahi hai.”

Har baar yeh defiance nahi hota. Kabhi child distracted hota hai, kabhi instruction process hi nahi hoti.

Try this: attention lo, phir ek time par ek instruction do.

Save this for later.

Day 55/100 — Understanding Your Child 🤍

It simply means understanding where your child may need a little extra support.

And when support is needed, starting early can make a real difference.

If you’ve noticed any of these signs in your child, don’t panic — but don’t ignore them either. Talk to your pediatrician or developmental pediatrician.

Comment “MILESTONE” and I’ll share a simple age-wise developmental red flag checklist.
