Happy to be a part of Team IAP Mumbai. Facilitated a session along with Dr Rachna Keshwani and Dr Rajesh Kasla president IAP Mumbai. The session focused on physical and psychological changes during puberty for children of a BMC school in Govandi in collaboration with the NGO Apnishala on 28th April 2026.

The children were 10 to 13 years of age and taught emotional regulation recognising and validating emotions through interactive games. The children were explained about the physical changes occurring during puberty in detail by Dr Rajesh Kasla and Dr Rachna Keshwani

*Newborn First Breath Initiative* (NFBI)

A topic close to my heart ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

🌸 Basic NRP Sensitisation Session facilitated on behalf of IAP Mumbai under the NFBI initiative at Karuna Hospital, Borivali West on 23rd March 2026. conducted by Dr Arpita Vakil Sr Poonam Rami and Dr Nita Jagad. The staff nurses were emphasized on the importance of mastering neonatal resuscitation skills with hands-on training. Really enjoyed, the participants being highly interactive and enthusiastic to learn these lifesaving skills.

🌸 The session was attended by *80 participants*

🌸 We sincerely thank Sister-in-charge Ms Jesia, Dr Vinita Zariwala, Dr Sunila Nagvekar and Dr Geetanjali Puthran for their valuable presence and support.

*🌺IAP Mumbai* conducted a CPR session for a group of 10 enthusiastic participants at Vaibhav Child Health Clinic, kandivali West

🌺 The session was conducted by Dr Rajesh Kasla and Dr Nita Jagad participant's questions were answered to their satisfaction.

🌺Participants practiced on mannequin and were happy to acquire the skills and offered to extend any help needed and organise at many other places

🌺 The session was co ordinated by Ms Sheetal Thakkar and Dr Nita Jagad on behalf of IAP Mumbai
