Age is just one number. Health matters more.

This 90-year-old lady had severe lumbar canal stenosis, making it difficult for her to walk and enjoy her daily life.

After a careful evaluation, we performed decompression and stabilization surgery to relieve the pressure on her nerves and restore stability to her spine.

Many people believe they’re “too old” for spine surgery. The truth is, if a person is physiologically fit, age alone should not be a barrier. The goal is simple: to reduce pain, improve mobility, and help patients enjoy a better quality of life.

A split second on the road can change everything.

This 28-year-old gentleman suffered a burst fracture of the T2 vertebra after a bike accident. The injury made his spine unstable and required urgent surgery.

We stabilized his spine with surgery, allowing him to begin his recovery and rehabilitation.

Road accidents don’t just cause broken bones. They can also lead to serious spinal injuries. Wearing a helmet, following traffic rules, and seeking immediate medical attention after an accident can make a life-changing difference.

Take care on the road. Your spine is something you can’t afford to ignore.

Back pain that keeps coming back isn’t something you should just live with.

This young lady had severe back pain along with pain shooting down her leg. Her scans showed a pars defect, which had made the L5-S1 level unstable and was putting pressure on the nerves.

We treated her with a spinal fusion surgery to stabilize the spine and relieve the nerve compression. She is now back on the road to recovery.

If your back pain keeps coming back or is associated with leg pain, numbness, or weakness, don’t ignore it. Getting the right diagnosis early can make all the difference.

Back pain that shoots down the leg is not something to ignore.

This 30-year-old lady was in so much pain that even walking had become difficult. Her MRI showed a slipped disc at the L4-L5 level pressing on the nerve.

We treated her with a minimally invasive microdecompression surgery, relieving the pressure on the nerve and helping her get back on her feet.

If your back pain is travelling down your leg or making it difficult to walk, don’t wait too long. Getting the right treatment at the right time can make all the difference.

A road traffic accident can change a life in an instant.

This patient came to me after an accident with a fracture in the thoracic (mid-back) spine. He had developed weakness in both legs and was also finding it difficult to pass urine, signs that the spinal cord was under pressure.

After a thorough evaluation, we performed surgery to stabilize the fractured spine with pedicle screws and decompress the spinal cord, giving the nerves the best chance to recover.

With surgery, rehabilitation, and determination, he gradually regained strength and started his journey back towards independence.

Every step regained is a victory.

There is no greater reward for a doctor than seeing a patient recover and get back to living life without pain.

Receiving a review like this reminds me why I chose spine surgery.

A heartfelt thank you to my patient for these kind words and for sharing their experience.

Every patient deserves a treatment plan that’s right for them.

This elderly lady came to me with a painful fracture in her spine. She was also on dialysis, making her a high-risk candidate for major spine surgery.

Instead of a big operation, we opted for a vertebroplasty, a minimally invasive procedure where special bone cement is injected into the fractured bone to stabilize it and relieve pain.

The result was significant pain relief, allowing her to sit, stand, and move around much more comfortably.

Not every spinal fracture needs major surgery. The best treatment depends on the patient’s overall health, bone quality, and lifestyle. Sometimes, a small procedure can make a big difference.

If you or a loved one has persistent back pain after a minor fall, especially with osteoporosis or other medical conditions, don’t ignore it. Early evaluation can help identify the right treatment and improve quality of life.

Back pain in older adults isn’t always just a part of ageing.

This elderly lady came to me with severe back pain along with pain radiating into her leg, making it difficult for her to stand and walk. Investigations showed that she had a collapsed fracture in her lower back, which was pressing on the nerves.

To relieve the pressure and restore stability, we performed surgery using cement-augmented screws to strengthen the bone and stabilize the spine.

Today, she is back on the road to recovery with much less pain and improved mobility.

If you or a loved one develops severe back pain after a minor fall, or experiences pain radiating into the legs, don’t ignore it. In older adults, even a seemingly small fracture can lead to significant problems if left untreated. Early diagnosis and the right treatment can make a huge difference.
