⚖️ Johnson & Johnson Agrees to $5.5 Billion Baby Powder Settlement
Johnson & Johnson has agreed to a proposed $5.5 billion settlement to resolve approximately 76,000 ovarian cancer lawsuits in the United States linked to its baby powder products.
If 95% of claimants approve the deal, it could bring an end to nearly a decade of talc-related litigation. The settlement still requires claimant approval and court review before becoming final.
This marks one of the largest proposed product liability settlements in U.S. history and could be a significant milestone in the long-running legal battle.
