Dr. Prashant Bhokardankar, Professor and Head of Department at Datta Meghe Ayurvedic Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre, Nagpur, delivered an insightful presentation at SOARCON 2026, the 8th National Conference of Osteoarthritis Research, held in Hyderabad from 31 July to 2 August 2026.

His presentation, “Alternative Medicine in OA: A Journey from Ancient Wisdom to Evidence,” explored the evolving role of Ayurvedic medicine in the management of osteoarthritis and the importance of evidence-based approaches in advancing integrative healthcare.

The session also highlighted opportunities for international collaboration and meaningful exchange between traditional knowledge and contemporary research.
