Your child doesn’t need a screen to finish a meal.
When children eat while watching a screen, they may pay less attention to hunger and fullness cues and become less mindful of what and how much they are eating. Screen use during meals can also make healthy mealtime habits harder to build.
Try making mealtimes screen-free.
Put the phone away. Turn the TV off. Sit together. Talk. Let your child focus on the food in front of them.
Small changes at the dining table can help build healthier habits for life.
