Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Medicos National Association Nagpur DAMNA is the only national level association of students, teachers and doctors of modern and ancient system of medicine belongs to the backward classes.

EDUCATE, ORGANIZE AND AGITATE.........

Dr. Ambedkar Medicos Association was started in 1957 at GMC, Nagpur. It was the oldest association of its own kind. Later in 70’s the association spread its wings to other medical and allied colleges. In 2000, a resolution was passed by the association (DAMA) to form a National association as "Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Medicos National Association". DAMNA was r

egistered under Societies Registration Act, 1860 with vide number, Maharashtra/985/2000 on dated 24th October 2000. This association represents the voice of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar’s followers and looks after not only the interests of medical students and doctors but also the well being of the society at large. The establishment of peace and well being of the mankind as enunciated by the Lord Buddha is the ultimate mission of the association
