when we are in the college more of our people are dying due to un availability of blood and its component because at the time people are not aware about voluntary blood donation there are a handful of contentious youth working in this field just make them satisfied by doing something good to the society and this Nobel feeling led to established this organization for those who are in battle with go

ddess of death and have numerous dream behind and to just give them a smile of hope on 8th march 2008 we come togather with VBDAS and today we are able to save thousandsd of lives so come with us do something good which will give you the satisfaction of your birth indeed.

Today, a successful Voluntary Blood Donation Camp was organized for the patients admitted to Namchi District Hospital.

The camp was organized by the SKM Youth Wing, Namchi District, with the support of the Voluntary Blood Donor Association of Sikkim (VBDAS). Technical support was provided by the Blood Centre, District Hospital Namchi.

We are delighted to share that more than 150 voluntary blood donors registered, and 101 Blood Heroes were found fit and donated their precious blood, helping to save the lives of patients in need.

On behalf of the VBDAS family, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to each and every executive member of the Sikkim Krantikari Morcha Youth Wing, Namchi District, for your outstanding support and dedication in making this camp a grand success.
Our sincere appreciation also goes to all the Blood Heroes who donated their precious Red Gold to give hope and a new lease of life to the patients admitted to Namchi District Hospital. Your selfless act of kindness is truly inspiring.

We would also like to express our special thanks to Mr. Chewang Pintso Thakarpa, Mr. N.T. Lucksom, Mr. Bishnu Chettri, Mr. Bishal Rai, and Mr. N.B. Poudyal, VBDAS Executives, for your valuable presence, coordination, and continuous support in ensuring the successful organization of this camp.

Another Birthday Special Voluntary Blood Donation Camp 🎂🩸

On the 15th of every month, the Voluntary Blood Donor Association of Sikkim (VBDAS) organizes a Birthday Special Voluntary Blood Donation Camp for the patients admitted at STNM Hospital, Gangtok.

Likewise, the Birthday Special Blood Donation Camp for the month of July was successfully organized yesterday at STNM Hospital under the initiative of Mr. Benoy Thapa, President, VBDAS Gangtok Branch.
Many Blood Heroes came forward to celebrate their birthdays in the most meaningful way—by donating their precious Red Gold and giving the gift of life to patients in need.

On behalf of the entire VBDAS family, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to each and every Blood Hero who donated blood yesterday at STNM Hospital. Your selfless act has brought hope and happiness to many families.

🩸❤️ Successful Voluntary Blood Donation Camp – 7th July 2026 ❤️🩸

A successful Voluntary Blood Donation Camp was organized today by the All Sikkimese Bhutia Association, Namchi District, in collaboration with the Ngadak Gumpa Management Committee at the Prayer Hall, Ngadak Gumpa, Upper Ghurphsey.

🏥 The camp was conducted with the technical support of the Blood Centre, District Hospital Namchi.

👏 The response from the community was truly overwhelming! More than 100 enthusiastic voluntary blood donors registered for the camp, and 78 units of precious “Red Gold” 🩸 were successfully collected to support patients admitted to District Hospital Namchi.

🙏 We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the voluntary blood donors, organizers, volunteers, medical officers, and healthcare staff for their invaluable support, dedication, and selfless service. Your noble contribution will help save many precious lives and bring hope to countless families.

Our State executive Mr N.B. Poudyal Honoured at the National Level, Sets an Inspiring Example by Donating Blood for the 35th Time Today

Today State co Coordinator of the Voluntary Blood Donor Association of Sikkim (VBDAS), has been honoured at the national level for his outstanding contribution to society.
During the "Raktadata Mahakumbh Blood Donation Festival cm Conference", held on 4–5 July 2026 at Gopal Narayan Singh University, Jamuhar, Bihar, he was felicitated in recognition of his remarkable dedication and invaluable contributions to voluntary blood donation and humanitarian service. This honour is not only a personal achievement for him but also a matter of pride for the entire community of social workers, volunteers, and blood donors of Sikkim.
Adding on this historic occasion today he donated blood for the 35th time and once again sending a powerful message that there is no greater service than serving humanity. Through his actions, he has repeatedly demonstrated that a single blood donation can save a precious life.

"The greatest service to humanity is to save a life."

With this belief, a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp was successfully organized today by Jayprakash Associates Limited, Teesta-VI Hydroelectric Project, Sirwani, in collaboration with the Voluntary Blood Donor Association of Sikkim (VBDAS). The camp received technical support from the Blood Centre, District Hospital Singtam, Gangtok District, Sikkim.
A total of 60 enthusiastic voluntary blood donors registered for the camp. After the medical screening, 50 donors were found fit to donate and generously donated their precious "Red Gold" to help save the lives of patients admitted to District Hospital Singtam and STNM Hospital, Gangtok.
On behalf of the VBDAS family, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to each and every voluntary blood donor. Your selfless act of donating blood has given hope and a new chance at life to many patients and their families.
We also sincerely thank Jayprakash Associates Limited, Teesta-VI Hydroelectric Project, Sirwani, for organizing this noble blood donation camp in association with VBDAS and supporting the cause of saving lives.

On the occasion of International Day against Drug Abuse A voluntary blood donation camp was successfully organized at ITI College, Kewzing by the Voluntary Blood Donors Association of Sikkim (VBDAS) in collaboration with ITI College, Kewzing.
A total of 51 units of precious blood were collected to support patients admitted to Namchi District Hospital. Every blood donation is a priceless gift that has the power to save lives and give hope to patients in need.
