*Healthy Snacks Between Two Meals*
A good between-meal snack should keep you full, provide steady energy, and help you avoid overeating at your next meal.

* Plain curd or greek yogurt or with berries or sliced fruit.
* Roasted chana or roasted peanuts or soy nuts.
* Fresh fruits like apples, oranges, pears, guava, or papaya.
* Vegetable sticks (carrot, cucumber, bell peppers) with yogurt dip.
* Sprouts chaat with onions, tomatoes, cucumber, & lemon.
* Boiled eggs with a pinch of salt & pepper.
* Paneer cubes or tofu with herbs.
* Whole-grain toast or with apple slices with peanut butter (in moderation) on it.

* Excessive biscuits, especially cream-filled varieties.
* Frequent consumption of deep-fried items like samosas, kachoris, & pakoras.
*How much to eat*
Aim for 150–250 calories per snack, depending on your activity level and overall calorie needs. Some examples:
* 1 medium apple + 10–15 almonds
* 1 cup plain curd + fruit
* 1 cup sprouts chaat
* 2 boiled eggs
* 30 g roasted chana
*Timing*
A snack is most useful if there’s 3–5 hours between meals. If your next meal is within an hour or so, you may not need a snack.
