Munich is about to rewrite 5 guidelines. 🫀

One of these five already has its answer — CARDIO-TTRansform missed its primary endpoint. Included anyway because the why is the real teaching point.

The other four drop live Aug 28–31.

Prediction: does ENRICH-AF’s lobar ICH safety signal sink it, or net benefit overall?

6 trials that should be on every cardiologist’s radar 🫀

Trial 2 in this carousel got stopped early. Not because of safety — because it wasn’t going to work.

That’s not a footnote. Residents rarely get taught how to read a negative trial, and honestly? Knowing when a promising drug doesn’t pan out is just as clinically important as knowing when one does.

Swipe through 6 readouts from ACC.26, ESC 2026, and EuroPCR 2026 that are actually shaping how we think — from PCSK9 inhibition moving into primary prevention, to why “unloading before PCI” isn’t ready for routine anterior STEMI, to a Phase 2 signal in a HFpEF phenotype most people haven’t even heard of.

Save this for when you’re pimped on it. 📌

💪 MUSCLE IS MEDICINE

Best way to control diabetes — naturally.

Here’s how it works:
Insulin normally opens a “door” (GLUT4 transporter) that lets sugar move from your blood into muscle. But muscle contraction itself — lifting, squatting, walking — opens that same door through a separate pathway. No insulin required at that moment.

This matters most in insulin resistance (like type 2 diabetes), where the insulin pathway doesn’t work well. Exercise gives your body a second route to clear sugar.

Exercise also makes your muscle more sensitive to the insulin you do have — both right after a workout (24-48 hrs) and with consistent training over time.

More muscle = more of these doors = more sugar-clearing capacity, even at rest.

Backed by multiple clinical trials in type 2 diabetes, resistance training has been shown to:
📉 Lower HbA1c & fasting blood sugar
⚡ Improve insulin sensitivity
💪 Build strength and lean mass
❤️ Reduce inflammation

Twice a week, major muscle groups — that’s enough to start.
⚠️ New to weight training, or have heart disease/diabetic complications/joint issues? Start under proper supervision. Form over weight, always.

Individual results vary — this is a powerful tool, not a replacement for your doctor’s advice.

🎯 NEET PG EXAM PREP

Cardiology for NEET PG — 11 high-yield topics, one carousel.

ECG axis, MI localization, arrhythmias, ACS drug doses, HFrEF vs HFpEF, resistant hypertension, Duke criteria (2023 update), Jones criteria (2015 revision), the newest HF drugs, STEMI equivalents, and murmurs — with every exam trap flagged.

8-10 questions come from cardiology every single year. This is everything that repeats.

Newer Drugs in Cardiology!

8 drugs. 8 mechanisms.

From the first aldosterone synthase inhibitor (baxdrostat) to a twice-yearly RNAi jab that could rewrite hypertension adherence (zilebesiran) — cardiology’s drug pipeline moved fast in 2025–26.

Swipe through for:
✅ What each drug actually targets
✅ The trial data behind it
✅ Who it’s for — and what’s still unproven

Two of these (asundexian, zilebesiran) aren’t FDA-approved yet — included because the signal is too strong to ignore, clearly flagged as investigational.

☕ Plot twist: your morning coffee has been on trial — and the 2026 verdict is in.

New research followed 2.86 million people to answer one question: is coffee wrecking your heart or protecting it? Turns out… it’s both, depending on how much you drink ⚖️

Swipe to find out:
→ The exact “safe” dose cardiologists now point to
→ Why coffee might actually LOWER your stroke risk
→ The one heart attack red flag hiding in the data
→ The brewing mistake raising your cholesterol without you knowing

Your coffee habit isn’t the villain everyone made it out to be. But excess? That’s a different story 👀

Five phenotypes. Five genetic architectures. Five treatment ladders — and a 2026 update that reframes them by cause, not just morphology.
