A diagnosis can feel like relief and restriction at the same time. A relief, because something finally makes sense; but a restriction because suddenly, your story risks being reduced to a label.

This letter is for anyone who has ever felt seen and boxed in at once. You are not your diagnosis. You are everything that exists beyond it, your context, your growth, your choices, your becoming. 🌿

✨ About The Letters Project:
This post is part of The Letters Project - a Kangaroo Minds series where we write the letters we needed to write, the ones we never sent, and the ones that might just set us free. So we can say what we need to say, because sometimes, healing begins with the words we’ve kept inside for too long. πŸ’Œ

Here's looking back at a very insightful discussion organised by the IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry, exploring the avenues opened up by AI within the space of Mental Healthcare and healthcare overall while also exploring the potential risks and challenges it poses.

Our Founder had the opportunity to be a part of this panel moderated by leading Academic Ms Amrita Sadarangani, while sharing the dias with psychologists Ms Arya Timblo and Ms Shradha Murarka, and renowned healthcare expert, Dr Marcus Rane. The panel provided an opportunity for them to reflect on the growing trends in the AI space, and the guardrails required to curtail harm to vulnerable populations.

We would like to take a moment to thank everyone who worked tirelessly towards making this event a reality and to the audience for their engaging questions and interactions.

Shame has a way of convincing us to hide the parts of ourselves that are most human, even before we know what we are hiding from.

It creeps in after mistakes, vulnerability, or simply not fitting into someone else’s idea of β€œacceptable.” it thrives in silence, feeds on comparison, and grows when we believe its voice. But the thing is, shame is learned, and what is learned can be unlearned.

For years, many of us have believed its stories - that we were too much, not enough, or undeserving, but now, let's learning to meet it with compassion instead of compliance.

If Shame has ever tried to silence you, maybe these words will remind you: you are worthy exactly as you are.

Looking back at World Mental Health Day, we are very thankful to Jhunjhunu Collector, Shri Arun Garg ji and Nawalgarh MLA, Shri Vikram Singh Jakhal ji who not only flagged off our Mental Health rally but also shared their words of wisdom and encouragement with the students and faculty members of the various Podar Educational Institutions in Nawalgarh who were participating in this drive. They not only spoke about the importance of mental health and wellbeing for communities but also commended these efforts being taken to spread awareness.

This Rally was lead by the students across age groups from the various institutions and their teachers who were then joined by various members of the local community and administrative bodies as they walked through the town of Nawalgarh to engage with locals, strike up conversations about Mental Health, emotional wellbeing & remind them why it matters to prioritise their minds as well.

We would like to take a moment to thank everyone who worked tirelessly towards making this rally a reality and to the members of the community who participated in this event.
