My longing for people who understood me when I was battling with depression has what pushed me in building Izhariyat and my vision is to be able to provide a platform for people to be able to openly express and communicate how they feel and be there for each other, the vision is to build a family for all the people out there who find themselves alone in this battle.
Please spread this so that people in need can reach us.
Also, this is a non profit initiative and hence, will be affordable to everyone.

Izhariyat is a support group initiative.
Many of you must have heard of ‘Alcohol Anonymous’
It’s a support group that’s been run all over the world for alcoholics.
When I was in depression, even though I had enormous support from people around me, it was hard to believe when they said they “understood” because how could they?! And I really wished I had a support group to go to then, so that I could talk and connect with people going through similar situations and not find myself alone, that’s when this idea struck me.
These support groups that I’m planning to facilitate are for people with depression, anxiety and borderline symptoms to start with. These groups will involve regular meetings where people experiencing similar problems or life transitions would come together to offer each other support at a minimal cost.
The vision is to reach maximum people in need of support and to end the stigma that revolves around mental health and to make that happen, I require your support in spreading this so that the people in need can contact me.
