Manas Foundation

Manas Foundation Caring For A Beautiful Mind... Starting from a two-room centre, Manas is now housed in a four storied building in Delhi.

Manas Foundation was founded in the year 2000 by a group of mental health professionals in response to their experience with the need for mental healthcare in the society. Coming from the fields of Clinical Psychology and Psychiatry, we shared the dream of rendering comprehensive psychological and educational services under one roof. We are a registered trust and the past few years have seen Manas

contributing more to the community and training, while maintaining our commitment to multidisciplinary clinical services. Our mission statement is to generate awareness and make psychological services available to as many people as possible. We work with all segments of the population like women, elderly, children and adolescents as well as the marginalized groups, to understand their emotional stressors and to strengthen their coping mechanism. In this effort, we provide our expertise both through our own centre and in collaboration with like-minded organizations, already active within the community. To this end, we have built partnerships with government organizations and civil society groups to integrate the mental health component into their critical interventions. We train NGO professionals in building their psychological skills and supporting them in setting up community-based counseling centers. Additionally we are developing capacities of communities and training barefoot mental health professionals especially in rural areas where access to mental health services is unavailable. Thus, we train professionals by imparting hands on experience in psychological skills and paraprofessionals by hand holding and education; this has greatly enhanced our reach and capabilities in our efforts to achieve our goals.

A positive environment isn’t about perfection-it’s about feeling safe, seen, and supported. It’s in the little things: a kind word, a deep breath, a space that feels like yours. Whether it’s your home, your workplace, or your mind, you deserve a space that helps you grow, not just get by.

Tag someone who lights up your environment!
Let's build positive spaces together!

Sometimes, smoking is more than a habit.

For many individuals, it becomes a response to stress, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, burnout, or the need to momentarily escape difficult emotions.

While ni****ne may feel calming in the moment, long-term to***co use can impact both physical and mental wellbeing, affecting mood, sleep, stress levels, and overall quality of life.

This World No To***co Day, let’s create awareness with compassion, not judgment. Healing begins when we understand the emotion behind the coping pattern.

If you or someone you know is struggling, professional support can help in building healthier coping mechanisms and emotional wellbeing.

🧠 Mental health affects how we think, feel, connect, work, and live, yet conversations around it are still often avoided or delayed. Awareness is not just about statistics; it is about recognizing that support, understanding, and early care can make a meaningful difference in someone’s life.

This Mental Health Awareness Month, let us create spaces where asking for help feels safe, conversations feel normal, and mental wellbeing is treated with the same importance as physical health.

If you or someone you know has been struggling, support is available.
