Newspaper that lives beyond a day ♻️

At FOD, donated newspapers are transformed into eco-friendly, wood-free pencils, giving old paper a new purpose while helping reduce the need to cut trees. The initiative creates sustainable livelihood opportunities for people with disabilities as well.

Over the past decade, Family of Disabled (FOD) has produced over 4 lakh pencils. Every pencil writes just like a regular pencil while giving old newspapers a new purpose. More importantly, each purchase helps create dignified livelihood for people with disabilities, making every pencil a small step towards a more inclusive and sustainable future.
