For Laparoscopic Ventral Hernia Repairs (LVHR) we use a high generation composite mesh and a powered absorbable mesh fixation tacker device.

In our experience, using this powered fixation device - from Medtronic has significantly reduced the post operative pain and enhanced recovery and return to activities.

All our Patients receive a nerve block for post-op pain relief.

Groin Hernia is a common problem. It is more common in Men but can happen in Women too

Many times patients let the hernia grow because but is not causing any Pain. However, *Pain in Hernia is a sign of Complication*. It could require an Open, Emergency Operation with not so good results

When done in a planned, elective manner, Hernia Surgery can be done by Laparoscopic/ Robotic Techniques and is Safe & Effective with Early Recovery & Return to Work.

Please advise all Hernia Patients to not wait for Symptoms like Pain or Swelling to become big.

*Umbilical Hernia* is a very common problem

What is it ?

Umbilical Hernia is a hole in the abdomen wall at the weakest site - the Navel. It leads to bulge in the belly and internal fat & intestine can come and get blocked in that hole.

The treatment is well defined. It cannot be cured by medicine

Using Laparoscopic or Robotic Surgery, we close the hole and use a advanced generation mesh to give strength to hernia repair
