🥗 Kidney-friendly eating is not simply about “eating less salt.”
When kidney function is reduced, the right food choices may also depend on potassium, phosphorus, protein, sodium and fluid intake.
And here’s something important:
👉 The same food may be suitable for one kidney patient but not necessarily for another.
For example, someone with high potassium may need different choices from someone whose potassium is normal. Protein and fluid requirements can also vary depending on kidney function and overall health.
So instead of following a generic “kidney diet,” it’s important to understand what your individual reports and kidney function actually require.
💚 Kidney health begins with informed food choices—not unnecessary food restrictions.
