# # # Prevention Starts With Awareness 🌸

Women’s health needs attention at every stage of life. While we cannot prevent every type of cancer, being aware of our health and taking the right precautions can go a long way.

A few simple things can make a difference:

• **Don’t skip regular health check-ups.** It’s better to stay informed about your health than wait for a problem to become serious.

• **Consider HPV vaccination.** It plays an important role in helping prevent cervical cancer.

• **Stay active and maintain a healthy weight.** Small, consistent lifestyle changes can support your overall health.

• **Avoid to***co and keep alcohol consumption limited.**

• **Listen to your body.** Unusual bleeding, persistent pelvic pain, abnormal discharge, or any change that feels unusual should not be ignored.

And most importantly, **don’t hesitate to talk to your doctor or ask questions about your health.**

Awareness doesn’t mean being worried. It means being informed, taking care of yourself, and knowing when to seek medical advice. ❤️

Can Irregular Periods Be a Sign of Gynecologic Cancer?

Irregular periods are quite common, and in most cases, there is no reason to panic. Stress, hormonal changes, PCOS, thyroid problems and several other conditions can affect your menstrual cycle.

But if you notice that your periods have suddenly changed or are repeatedly irregular, it is worth paying attention to.

Sometimes, unusual bleeding can be one of the signs associated with certain gynecologic cancers, including uterine, cervical and ovarian cancers.

Please don’t ignore symptoms such as:

🔹 Periods becoming much heavier than usual
🔹 Bleeding between periods
🔹 Bleeding after menopause
🔹 Unusual vaginal bleeding or discharge
🔹 Persistent pelvic or abdominal discomfort

Irregular periods do not automatically mean cancer. There can be many simple and treatable reasons behind them. The important thing is to understand why the change is happening.

If something feels different from your usual cycle and the problem continues, talk to a gynecologist and get it evaluated. Early attention can make a difference.

Your body often gives you signs. Listen to them. ❤️

# # # Prevention Today. Protection Tomorrow. 💜

Cervical cancer is one of the cancers that can often be **prevented and detected early** with the right awareness, vaccination, and regular screening.

Here’s what every woman should know:

🔹 **HPV infection** is the leading cause of cervical cancer.
🔹 **Regular cervical screening** can help detect abnormal changes at an early stage.
🔹 **HPV vaccination** can help protect against the HPV types that cause most cervical cancers.
🔹 **Early detection and timely treatment** can significantly improve outcomes.

**Don’t wait for symptoms. Prevention starts with awareness.**

Take charge of your health.
**Get screened. Stay informed. Stay protected.** 💜
