Babies Stretch, Grunt & turn Red, Is this normal ? बच्चा इतना ज़ोर क्यों लगाता है, क्या करें ?
👶 Does your baby stretch, grunt, make noises, and turn red while passing gas or stool?
Don’t panic! ❤️
In most newborns, this is completely normal. Babies are still learning how to coordinate their abdominal muscles and pelvic floor. They may:
✔ Stretch their body
✔ Make grunting sounds
✔ Turn red in the face
✔ Strain for a few minutes
As long as the stool is soft and your baby is feeding well, gaining weight, and otherwise comfortable, this is usually not constipation.
🚨 See your pediatrician if:
• Grunting is continuous or associated with fast breathing
• Lips or tongue turn blue
• Baby has persistent vomiting
• Abdomen becomes swollen
• Refuses feeds
• Blood in stool
• Hard pellet-like stools
• Poor weight gain or excessive lethargy
Most babies outgrow this behaviour by 2–3 months of age.
💬 Did your baby also become red while grunting? Tell me in the comments!
Save this post and share it with new parents who may be worried.
