Why do piles come back after treatment? 🤔
Piles may recur when the factors contributing to increased pressure around the hemorrhoidal veins continue.
Common contributors include chronic constipation, hard stools, straining, prolonged toilet sitting, inadequate fluid intake, low dietary fiber, pregnancy, and increased abdominal pressure.
Creams and stool softeners can provide symptom relief in appropriate situations, but long-term management should also focus on bowel habits, diet, hydration and lifestyle factors.
Don't just focus on the symptoms. Focus on the factors contributing to them.
If you have recurrent bleeding, pain, a persistent lump, or symptoms that don't improve, seek medical evaluation instead of repeatedly self-treating.
