Things we’re GHOSTING this Halloween. 👻
Sorry, not sorry. The real monsters aren’t in costumes, they’re the health risks we ignore.
Swipe to see who we’re calling out 👉

HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE - THE SILENT VAMPIRE 🧛

It drains you quietly, and often shows no symptoms. You won’t feel it until it hits hard.

Quick Fix: Cut back on salt, walk 30 mins a day, get your BP checked regularly.

UNDETECTED DIABETES RISK - THE DOUBLE TROUBLE 🍬👻

Your blood sugar levels may look normal, while insulin resistance is already building up inside.

Quick Fix: Along with HbA1c, get a HOMA-IR assessment to uncover the hidden risk.

LOW IRON - THE ZOMBIE EFFECT 🧟

Tired all the time? Dizzy? Pale? Feeling like a zombie on 1% battery?

It could be low iron.

Quick Fix: Test hemoglobin and ferritin. Add spinach, lentils and jaggery with Vitamin C. Do not self-supplement before testing.

VITAMIN D/B12 DEFICIENCY - THE BONE-TIRED SKELETON 💀

Constant fatigue, aches, low mood? Easy to dismiss, but important to investigate.

Quick Fix: Test your Vitamin D and B12 levels. Then follow your doctor’s advice on sunlight, food or supplements.

THE REAL HORROR? SKIPPING YOUR CHECK-UP. 😱

Don’t let hidden risks catch you by surprise. Ghosts are for Halloween, health is for every day.

Get the right tests. Book your Full Body Checkup today.

Breast cancer is common, but fear shouldn’t stop you from checking.

In this video, Dr. Suchana Kushvaha, Oncologist (Breast Health Expert), Gurugram explains that this is not to create fear, but to make you breast health aware.

She shares 3 simple steps you can follow:

1. Be Breast Aware: Start Self Breast Examination once a month. Make it a habit - on the last day of your period. If you notice any change, any lump, anything abnormal - don’t fear, just visit your doctor. Most lumps are NOT cancer.

2. Know Your Risk: If you are 25 years or above, know your risk. If you are high-risk, your doctor may advise more than just a mammogram - like MRI screening or genetic testing (BRCA).

3. Get Yourself Checked: If you have turned 40 or are more than 40, start including an annual mammogram in your routine checkup.

Ladies, please don’t wait. Early detection saves lives.

Think prediabetes only affects people who are overweight? Or that feeling fine means your blood sugar is normal? These common myths can delay early detection of insulin resistance and prediabetes.

Understanding the facts is the first step towards better metabolic health. Recognising risk factors, making informed lifestyle choices, and getting your blood sugar tested when recommended can help you take timely action.

Don’t let misconceptions stand in the way of prevention. Know the facts, recognise the signs, and prioritise your health with Redcliffe Labs.

Your health is more than just a number on a report. ❤️‍🩹

From heart rate variability (HRV) to breathing rate, understanding your body’s signals can help you make more informed decisions about your well-being. While these metrics offer useful insights, they should always be interpreted in context and aren’t a substitute for a comprehensive health assessment.

Know your numbers. Understand your health. Take action early.

Karwa Chauth is a celebration of love, devotion and togetherness, but fasting also calls for mindful health choices. 🌙❤️

If you’re observing the fast, make your Sargi count with a balanced meal containing protein, fibre and healthy fats to help sustain energy. Stay hydrated before the fast begins, avoid excessive fried and sugary foods, and break your fast gently after sunset. If you have diabetes or take blood sugar-lowering medication, consult your healthcare professional before fasting, as prolonged fasting can affect blood glucose levels.

This Karwa Chauth, celebrate the ones you love without forgetting to care for yourself. Wishing everyone a happy, healthy and blessed Karwa Chauth from Redcliffe Labs!

Think you’re healthy just because you feel fine? Your body might have a different story to tell. 👀

Insulin resistance can develop silently, often before blood sugar levels reach the diabetes range. Signs like frequent hunger, constant fatigue, sleepiness after meals, difficulty losing weight, increasing waist circumference, and dark patches on the skin may be worth discussing with your doctor.

The important part? Don’t wait for symptoms to get worse. Regular health check-ups, appropriate blood tests, balanced nutrition, physical activity, and timely medical advice can help you understand and manage your metabolic health.

Because when it comes to diabetes prevention, early awareness matters. ❤️

Insulin resistance is influenced by more than just what you eat. Your daily movement, exercise and sleep routine matter ...

Insulin resistance is influenced by more than just what you eat. Your daily movement, exercise and sleep routine matter too. 💙

🚶 Post-meal walks: Help your muscles take up glucose from the bloodstream.
🥗 Balanced meals: Combining fibre, protein and healthy fats with carbohydrates can support better blood sugar management.
🏋️ Strength training: Helps muscles use glucose more effectively and improves insulin sensitivity.
😴 Consistent sleep: Supports the hormones and metabolic processes involved in blood sugar regulation.

These habits work together to support metabolic health and reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes. If you’re at risk, regular blood sugar screening can help identify concerns early.

3 Healthy Recipes This Festive Season 🪔

Festive cravings, meet your healthier twist! ✨

This Diwali, bring a little creativity to your dessert table with three festive favourites: Paneer Kheer, Ras Malai and Carrot Halwa.

Swipe through for the ingredients and easy preparation steps. Save these recipes for your festive menu!

Paneer Kheer 🥣

A creamy festive favourite with a simple homemade twist! ✨

Ingredients:

* 100 g paneer, crumbled
* 500 ml milk
* Cardamom powder
* Chopped almonds and pistachios
* Food-grade sweetener, optional

Method: Simmer the milk until slightly reduced. Add crumbled paneer and cardamom, cook briefly, and garnish with nuts.

Made without added sugar, but remember that milk still contains natural carbohydrates. Enjoy mindfully!

Ras Malai 🍮

A festive classic that deserves a place on your Diwali table! 💛

Ingredients:

* Paneer or prepared chenna discs
* Milk
* Cardamom powder
* Saffron, optional
* Chopped almonds and pistachios
* Food-grade sweetener, optional

Method: Prepare soft chenna discs and simmer them in reduced, cardamom-flavoured milk. Add saffron and garnish with nuts.

Keep in mind that milk and paneer contribute carbohydrates, so portion sizes matter when managing blood sugar.

Carrot Halwa 🥕

Diwali feels incomplete without a little gajar ka halwa! 🪔

Ingredients:

* 2 cups grated carrots
* 1 cup milk
* 1 tsp ghee
* Cardamom powder
* Chopped almonds for garnish
* Food-grade sweetener, optional

Method: Sauté the carrots in ghee for 3–4 minutes. Add milk and cook until the carrots soften and the milk reduces. Mix in cardamom, add sweetener if desired, and garnish with almonds.

Carrots provide fibre, but the total carbohydrate content depends on the ingredients and serving size. Enjoy your festive favourite mindfully!
