In pregnancy-related emergencies, timely ultrasound (USG) can be lifesaving for both the mother and baby. From evaluating fetal heartbeat and growth to detecting ectopic pregnancy, bleeding, placental issues or reduced amniotic fluid, USG helps doctors make quick and accurate decisions during critical situations.

Safe, non-invasive and radiation-free, ultrasound remains one of the most important tools in emergency obstetric care. ✨

PCOS is no longer just about ovarian cysts - it’s now being understood as PMOS (Polycystic Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome), highlighting the strong connection between hormones, metabolism and overall health.

Weight gain, insulin resistance, irregular periods, acne, hair fall and difficulty conceiving are often signs that your body’s metabolic health needs attention too. Early diagnosis, lifestyle changes and the right medical guidance can help manage symptoms effectively and improve long-term health outcomes.

Breast ultrasound and mammography are both important tools in breast imaging, but they serve different purposes.

Mammography is the gold standard for early breast cancer screening and is especially effective in detecting tiny calcifications or abnormalities before symptoms appear.

Breast ultrasound, on the other hand, is often used to evaluate lumps, breast pain or dense breast tissue more closely. It helps differentiate between fluid-filled cysts and solid masses without using radiation.

In many cases, these imaging techniques work together to provide a more accurate diagnosis and ensure timely treatment when needed. Regular screening and early detection can make a significant difference in breast health outcomes.

Consult Dr Pallavi Aga, trusted Radiologist in Cloudnine Hospital, Sector 51 Noida, for accurate and compassionate breast imaging care.

I lied - I don't want average for my 50s.
I want muscle.
I want strength.
I want energy.
I want discipline.
I love lifting heavy.
I love outworking my excuses.
I love when other women say - we would love to be strong as you are.

Four sides of the same story - precision, strength, balance and a little bit of fun in between.

From reading scans with focus to lifting weights with discipline, it’s all about showing up consistently - in scrubs and in sneakers. Because caring for others starts with taking care of yourself too.

Pregnancy scans are not just routine, they’re carefully timed milestones that track your baby’s growth and well-being.

Typically, 3–4 essential scans are recommended:
• First trimester scan (6–9 weeks) to confirm pregnancy and heartbeat
• NT scan (11–14 weeks) to assess early development
• Anomaly scan (18–22 weeks) for detailed structural evaluation
• Growth scan (28–32 weeks) to monitor baby’s progress

Additional scans may be advised based on medical needs, high-risk factors, or any concerns during pregnancy.

A common worry: Are multiple scans harmful?
The answer is NO - ultrasound scans use sound waves, not radiation and are considered safe when done under medical guidance. Unnecessary scans should be avoided, but medically indicated scans are important for timely decisions and reassurance.

Trust the timing, trust the science and always follow your doctor’s advice for a healthy pregnancy journey.
