Upon receiving information regarding an abandoned cattle near Jalipool, Murda ghar area, a team from Saureni and Aho Veterinary Dispensary, AH &VS Department , promptly visited the site to assess and manage the situation, upon inspection it was found that the animal is owned by Mr. Mohan Chettri, resident of Adampool, he was transporting the animal by himself after purchasing it but was unable to do so alone and had placed the animal at the roadside for a while, upon which the pictures and video of the cattle got circulated online. As a result of exposure to harsh weather condition for a day, the cattle became weak and recumbent upon which the animal was then transferred to a temporary makeshift shed nearby, where the animal is being treated at present.
Routine visitation and necessary medical treatment is being carried out by the team, and the cow will be transferred to a more permanent location once it is stable and able to stand.
