RoboGynIndia 2026 | Learning. Connecting. Inspiring

Had wonderful two days at the 5th Annual Conference of the Association of Gynaecological Robotic Surgeons of India (AGRS) – RoboGynIndia 2026!

A true academic feast—with stimulating discussions, surgical videos, innovative ideas, sharing of experiences and so much to take back to our operating rooms.

It was wonderful meeting old friends, making new ones and connecting with so many inspiring surgeons who are contributing to the rapidly evolving field of robotic gynaecology.

A special highlight was the inspiring and deeply motivating talk by Dr. Rooma Sinha —a reminder that excellence in surgery is not just about technology, but about continuously learning, pushing boundaries and having the courage to innovate.

I came back with new knowledge, new friendships, renewed motivation and an even stronger belief in the future of robotic gynaecological surgery in India. And already looking forward to AGRS 2027.

Grateful to be part of this exciting journey.
Here’s to learning together, growing together and taking minimally invasive surgery forward.

Fibroids do not automatically mean hysterectomy.
The number and size of fibroids alone should not decide the fate of the uterus.

The right question is:
“Can we safely preserve the uterus while giving the patient the treatment she needs?”

In carefully selected patients, with advanced surgical expertise ,meticulous planning and the right technology, the answer can be yes.

Proud of the entire team that made this challenging uterus-preserving robotic myomectomy possible.

Celebrating Motherhood, Empowering Families at Manipal Hospital Gurugram

Pregnancy is not just about preparing for childbirth—it’s about preparing families with the right knowledge, confidence, and support.

It was wonderful to host Spandan, a special celebration for our expectant mothers and their families at Manipal Hospital Gurugram. The day was filled with learning, laughter, movement, and meaningful conversations.

During my session, I addressed some of the most common myths and facts surrounding normal delivery and Caesarean section, helping couples make informed decisions based on evidence rather than fear.

A special thanks to my wonderful colleagues

Dr Priyanka , Consultant Anaesthesiologist, who explained the role of epidural analgesia and painless labour, addressing many common concerns.

Dr.Ritu Mann, who explained the importance of safe delivery versus normal delivery.

Dr Mahima Bakshi who led an engaging belly dance session, demonstrating how gentle movement and exercise during pregnancy can improve flexibility, reduce stress, and help women prepare for labour in a fun and enjoyable way.

Seeing so many smiling faces, enthusiastic participation, and families coming together reminded us that maternity care extends far beyond the delivery room. It is about education, reassurance, and building confidence throughout the journey.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us and to the entire Manipal Hospital team for making Spandan such a memorable celebration of motherhood.

Because every mother deserves to feel informed, supported, and celebrated.

Honoured and humbled.

Manipal Hospital, Gurugram has been ranked #1 in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in NCR by Outlook — and our team was felicitated by our Regional COO and GM in recognition of this achievement.

This ranking isn’t just a number. It represents thousands of safe deliveries, complex cases handled with precision, and women who walked in with anxiety and walked out with confidence.

Excellence in women’s healthcare is not a destination — it’s a standard we hold ourselves to, every single day.

Thank you to our incredible clinical and support teams, and to the patients who place their trust in us.

Endometriosis is something so many women silently suffer with for years before finally getting a diagnosis.

This patient’s story is one that many will relate to — pain being ignored, normal life getting affected, and not knowing where to turn.

Listening to her today after robotic surgery and seeing the difference in her quality of life makes all the hard work worth it.

Awareness and early diagnosis can truly change lives. Severe pain is not “normal” and should never be ignored.

Sharing her journey with gratitude and with hope that more women seek help sooner.
