Part 2 | SOS Strategy for Escape Behaviour 🤯

When a child starts crying, running away, refusing, or saying "No," don't react immediately—use SOS.

🟢 S – Stay Calm: Your calmness helps the child feel safe.
👀 O – Observe: Find out why the child is trying to escape. Is the task too difficult? Is the environment overwhelming?
🤝 S – Support: Start with an easier task the child enjoys, use positive reinforcement, and then slowly move toward the challenging activity.

Remember, escape behaviour is communication—not just "bad behaviour." Understanding the reason behind it helps us teach better coping skills.
