लिंग का कैंसर (Pe**le Cancer) एक कम होने वाला परन्तु खतरनाक कैंसर है जिसमे लिंग का रोगग्रसित भाग हटा दिया जाता है। कुछ लोगों में यह जांघ की ग्रंथियों (inguinal lymph nodes) में भी फ़ैल चुका होता है किन्तु इसका इलाज़ करवाने की जागरूकता के अभाव में (lack of awareness) और जांघ में बड़े चीरे की जटिलताओं जैसे घाव न भरना, पानी छोड़ना इत्यादि के कारण लोग जांघ की ग्रंथियों का ऑपरेशन नहीं करवाते हैं, जिससे यह तेजी से फैलता है।
आजकल अत्याधुनिक उपचार के रूप में दूरबीन से जांघ की ग्रंथियों को निकाल दिया जाता है (Videoendoscopic inguinal lymphadenectomy - VEIL) जिससे घाव जल्दी भर जाता है। एक मरीज की दोनों तरफ की जाँघों में ग्रंथियां थी, जिसमे बाएं वाली खून की नस को जकड़े हुए थी। दोनों तरफ दूरबीन से ऑपरेशन किया गया (Bilateral VEIL) जिससे मरीज को जल्द स्वास्थ्यलाभ मिला और उसकी सारी ग्रंथियां कैंसर से मुक्त निकली जिससे उसका इलाज़ पूर्ण हो गया।

I recently participated in live operative workshop on (लिंग का टेढ़ापन) and **leimplant (लिंग प्रत्यारोपण) as an operating faculty in Ranchi by with a warm invitation by Dr Prem Kumar sir. It was an incredible experience to show a video of bovine pericardial graft in and to witness 2 pe**le implant surgeries and assist Dr Sanjay Pandey sir from Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Mumbai in a surgery for peyronie's disease with bovine pericardial graft. Also met Dr Priyank Kothari, a good friend from Mumbai.

Participated in the annual conference of Bihar urology society BUSICON at Bettiah this weekend.
Moderated a panel discussion on small renal masses (किडनी के छोटे ट्यूमर) with panelists Drs Ranjan Saket Singh and Vikas Kumar, eminent urologists in hospitals across Patna and was felicitated by Dr Ashish Pardeshi from Pune, Maharashtra.
Enjoyed the grand hospitality by Dr Md Hedayatullah and DrKumar Shubham especially the चंपारण मटन हांडी होटल and the enriching scientific content.

It was an incredible experience to engage with international and national experts, share insights on urological treatments, and discuss the latest advancements in urology.

🌟 Exciting News! 🌟

The Youth organization of Urological Society of India - YoU USI has been created to foster the development of young urologists.
I’m thrilled to share that being a council member of , I helped in organising and participated in the 5th YoUth conclave at Muljibhai Patel Urological Hospital Nadiad, where it was an incredible experience to talk about the vision carts used in which was very well received especially among the young colleagues.
I am grateful to have received an award for winning 🥇 best paper in practice changing publications session in 4th YoUth conclave 2023 held at .
I also presented another paper on stone surgery in children in this year’s practice changing publications session for which I again won the award for this year to be given in next conclave.
Looking forward to continuing our work and advancing the field of urology together to serve the patients with the best care!

Spent 1 fruitful week at Uro-Oncology department at Tata Memorial Centre Mumbai, Maharashtra and Cancer Research Community of Actrec - TMC availing Siliguri travelling fellowship of east zone of Urological Society of India Facebook Group, awarded for training in urology anywhere in India. Observed radical cystectomy, complex lymph node dissection and kidney cancer surgeries.

I consider myself fortunate to have attended the first live workshop and conference of women urologists anywhere in the world, EmpWoUher 1.0, held at Seth G S Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai, Maharashtra by women section of Urological Society of India Facebook Group.

I was the only urologist from Bihar to be a part of this excellent academic feast as a chairperson in a session and celebrate the grand occasion of women in urology in India and across the world.
