The easiest way to understand a patient in Ayurveda isn’t by memorizing diseases—it’s by understanding patterns.

A patient doesn’t come with a label of Vata, Pitta, or Kapha. They come with symptoms, signs, and a story.

The art of Ayurveda lies in connecting those clues through proper clinical examination and understanding the patient’s unique constitution and imbalance.

The more patients you observe, the sharper your clinical judgment becomes.

Because in Ayurveda, we don’t just treat the disease—we understand the person first.

Why is Viddha Karma a game-changer for acute Manyastambha? šŸ‘‡

In Ayurveda, Manyastambha (neck stiffness) is managed based on the patient's condition and Ayurvedic diagnosis—not with a one-size-fits-all approach.

In carefully selected acute cases, Viddha Karma may provide rapid relief as part of a comprehensive treatment plan when performed by a trained Ayurvedic physician.

This reel demonstrates the procedure for educational purposes. Every patient is different, and the suitability of Viddha Karma depends on a proper clinical assessment.

šŸ“Consult a qualified Ayurvedic physician to know whether this treatment is appropriate for your condition.

Did you know not every Ayurvedic treatment involves medicines?

Viddha Karma is a classical Ayurvedic para-surgical procedure performed by trained Ayurvedic physicians for carefully selected conditions.

In this case, we’re performing Viddha Karma for selected Gala Roga (throat disorders) and Jivha Roga (tongue disorders) after a thorough Ayurvedic clinical assessment.

Ayurveda is never a one-size-fits-all system. Every treatment is personalized based on the patient’s Prakriti, Vikriti, and clinical diagnosis.

If you’re struggling with chronic throat or tongue concerns, consult an experienced Ayurvedic physician to understand whether Viddha Karma is appropriate for your condition.

One application. A result in seconds. 🌿

A patient came with tonsilloliths, persistent cough, severe sore throat, and difficulty swallowing after trying multiple treatments without relief.

On examination, the tonsillolith was clearly visible. A single application of Gandhak Dhruti was made—and within seconds, the tonsillolith came out with ease.

For me, this wasn’t just a successful case—it was another reminder of the value of a Guru’s teachings. My Guru, Vd. Vivek Sane Sir, always emphasized this approach, and seeing it work in clinical practice strengthened my faith in the wisdom passed down through our teachers.

Sometimes, the greatest lessons are the ones we experience ourselves.

The biggest mistake Ayurveda students make today? Learning Ayurveda without a Guru.

Google can give you information.
YouTube can show you techniques.
But neither can replace the wisdom gained from years of clinical practice.

Take Hingwashtak Churna for example. Most students know its common indications, but understanding when to prescribe it, how to use it, for whom, and what clinical changes to expect comes only through the guidance of an experienced Vaidya.

These subtle insights are learned at the patient’s bedside—not on a search engine.

If you truly want to become a better Vaidya, spend time with your Guru. Their experience will save you years of trial and error.

šŸ’¬ Tag your Guru and thank them for one lesson that changed your practice.

🌿 Timeless remedies, passed down through generations.

One lesson I learned from my Dadi was that Calotropis procera can be used to help remove Shalya (thorn). It’s a simple traditional practice that has stayed with me over the years, and today I’m sharing that experience with you.

Have you ever heard of this remedy? Let us know in the comments.
