How many times in a day do you hold a body part in pain? sometimes so involuntary that we don't even realise.

- Shoulder pain , back ache, migraine, allergies, sinus, pcod, food cravings are all our bodies way of coping with the stress we go through everyday.

☠️ Everytime we go through stressful moment our limbic and nervous system enters "threat mode"
and then the dis-eases mentioned above become it's coping mechanism.

- So if you don't want to put your body through this one way to keep it calm and out of danger is through MEDITATION, it's not just another spiritual practice it's a way to show some love and comfort to your body (mind & soul as well)

🧘‍♀️If you are a beginner to meditation you can just begin by connecting with your breath once every 60mins. Only observe , don't try to change anything.

Self-care isn’t directly proportional to the time you spend on it, but the intention and mindfulness you show towards it.

Whether it’s a 1 minute breathing exercise or a 60 minute therapy session; the moment you indulge in an activity that grounds you and calms you, you’ve found yourself some quality me-time.

To Phil, one of our favourite dads, husbands and men.

Rarely do we come across people, who choose to be vulnerable, expressive and sensitive and are downright amazing. You were one of them. A breath of fresh air, you’re special, especially in a world that views men as sorted, strong and always the “man” of the house.

You were different; a cheerleader (literally and metaphorically), we saw you carve your own rules to being a man, husband and father. Whether it’s playing basketball with your son or teaching your daughter a cheerleading routine, the way you loved your family was never dictated by society.

A particular scene where you ask your wife to let her guard down and be vulnerable is a true winner because it allows us to see how vulnerability isn’t related to a gender, only well-being. Someone who is always around for a hug, you were a man who cried, laughed and cracked jokes like there's no tomorrow. Watching you is still a treat because you were everything a man is "expected" to be and yet so much more.

You were never an anti-male character, but a more wholesome and inclusive one. We cannot help but appreciate the way you’ve lived in our hearts, embracing your masculine and feminine energies.

Modern family gave us a lot of beautiful characters but we'll always cherish the man that you were. You’re still a lesson for us on not just being a man, but being a human.

The society lies about men.

The beliefs that men are “strong” is one the major reasons they struggle to express themselves.

This leads to the pressure of being “strong” all the time. Men deserve to have a shot at being emotionally aware and mentally healthy. That is strength too.
