Today is the last day of what many consider the worst-ever year, 2020.
This year will also be synonymous with words that have been sending a chill down our spines- ๐
But this year also saw individuals being brave, more patient, more empathetic, and mindful. โค๏ธ
Aai Aadhar Kendra's Dr. Rajesh Gupte took it a notch up with Samarth Bharat Rebuilding. Here's how the organization has helped the community in grave times:
- Around 250 second-hand mobiles were distributed between poor families so that their kids could attend online school/classes

- Older kids of the community were trained to be able to teach around five to 10 younger kids

- Oxymeters were distributed to home with elderly members to tackle medical emergencies

- Folks who lost their jobs due to COVID were connected to employers willing to hire these individuals

- Arranged 'Skill Development' programs for individuals, making it easier for them to find jobs

It is initiatives like these that restore your faith in humanity and in hindsight, make the year 2020 a little less miserable. ๐
