Td vaccination helps protect against tetanus and diphtheria, two serious but preventable infections. Keeping vaccinations up to date provides important protection for individuals and helps build a healthier community.

👨‍👩‍👧 Who should consider Td vaccination?

* Adolescents and adults as recommended by the vaccination schedule
* People with wounds or injuries, when tetanus protection is indicated
* Individuals whose previous Td/Tdap vaccination is not up to date

Appendicitis: Don’t Ignore Pain in the Right Lower Abdomen

What is Appendicitis?

Appendicitis is the inflammation of the appendix, a small finger-shaped pouch attached to the large intestine. It is a surgical emergency, and delaying treatment can lead to rupture (burst appendix), infection, or life-threatening complications.

Common Symptoms

* Pain starting around the navel and shifting to the right lower abdomen
* Severe pain that worsens with movement, coughing, or walking
* Loss of appetite
* Nausea and vomiting
* Fever
* Abdominal bloating
* Constipation or diarrhea

Who is at Risk?

Appendicitis can occur at any age but is most common between 10 and 30 years. It affects both men and women.
