When should you consider an Upper GI Endoscopy?
Persistent acidity, heartburn, stomach pain, difficulty swallowing or unexplained vomiting may sometimes require a closer look at the upper digestive tract.
🔎 Upper GI Endoscopy allows examination of the food pipe (oesophagus), stomach and duodenum and can help identify conditions such as ulcers, inflammation, bleeding and other abnormalities.
Common indications include:
• Persistent acidity & heartburn
• Upper abdominal pain / indigestion
• Difficulty in swallowing
• Recurrent vomiting
• Suspected or known ulcers
• Upper GI bleeding
