Earlier activities of the company were mainly confined to the manufacturing programme on OEM basis, which was later on converted into brand manufacturing as PITKAR. Today SHPOPL have a strong presence in 29 cities within India and about 40 countries globally. SHPOPL has the largest range of products in Orthopedics, in terms of Orthopedic implants, Orthopedic Instruments & Orthopedic Appliances. The presence of SHPOPL has been felt in many specialty products in the field of orthopedics. The development and promotion of Ring Fixator System and Rail External Fixator devices has given a strong foothold to the company in overseas market. S.H. Pitkar Orthotools Pvt. Ltd. was proud to support KOLTSO-MMC '26 – CME & Hands-on Workshop on Ilizarov Basic and Advanced Course, organised by the Institute of Orthopaedics & Traumatology, Madras Medical College, at Rajiv Gandhi Government Hospital, Chennai, on 4th & 5th July 2026.

The workshop provided an excellent platform for aspiring orthopaedic surgeons to enhance their knowledge and gain practical experience in Ilizarov techniques through expert-led lectures and hands-on training.

Basic Ilizarov Course 2026

Pitkar successfully conducted the Basic Ilizarov Course on 14th June 2026 at Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.

The workshop was organised by the Department of Orthopaedics, Gayatri Vidya Parishad Institute of Health Care & Medical Technology and witnessed an overwhelming response with 243 delegates registered.

We sincerely thank all the delegates, faculty members, and organisers for their enthusiastic participation and contribution to the success of the program.
