Building Healthier Workplaces, One Conversation at a Time

A healthy workplace is more than a productive workplace — it is one where the health, wellbeing and long-term needs of employees are given the attention they deserve.

Sancheti Hospital recently hosted an insightful Doctors’ & HR Panel Discussion focused on Workplace Musculoskeletal Health and Building a Healthier & More Productive Workplace, bringing together an accomplished group of healthcare experts, occupational health professionals and HR leaders.

The Doctors’ Panel, led by Dr. Parag Sancheti, Chairman, Sancheti Group of Hospitals and Vice President – Indian Arthroscopy Society (IAS), brought together diverse perspectives on workplace musculoskeletal health and occupational wellbeing.

The conversation was complemented by an engaging HR Panel Discussion, bringing together senior HR professionals to explore the organisational perspective of employee health and wellbeing.

The discussions highlighted the importance of preventive healthcare, early intervention, ergonomics, occupational health and employee wellbeing, while also examining how healthcare and HR teams can work together to create healthier and more sustainable work environments.

It was an enriching exchange of knowledge and experiences, bringing together two important perspectives — the science of workplace health and the people-centric approach of organisations.

At Sancheti, we remain committed to taking conversations around health beyond the hospital and into the workplace, helping create environments where people can stay healthier, work better and thrive.

Here’s to healthier people, healthier workplaces and healthier organisations.

Robotics is bringing new possibilities to spine surgery, with advances in planning, navigation, implant placement, and minimally invasive techniques.

In this video, Dr. Shailesh Hadgaonkar explains Robotic Endo Fusion and discusses some of the newer developments in robotic-assisted spine surgery.

Robotic and navigation-assisted systems can help surgeons plan procedures using detailed imaging and provide guidance during surgery. In selected fusion procedures, these technologies may assist with the accurate placement of spinal implants while supporting a minimally invasive approach where appropriate.

The field of robotic spine surgery continues to evolve, with technology increasingly focused on precision, surgical planning, navigation, and patient-specific approaches.

SMALL EYES. BIG REMINDER.

Your screen may be small, but the impact on your neck can be significant.

Long hours looking down at your phone or screen can put unnecessary strain on your neck and shoulders.
Take regular breaks, lift your eyes, maintain good posture, and give your neck the care it deserves. 💙

Look up from your screen. Your neck will thank you.

As you progress through recovery from back pain, exercise can gradually become more challenging. Phase 4 focuses on advanced exercises designed to build strength, stability, mobility, and confidence in movement.

Introducing Phase 4 of the Back Pain Exercise Series from Sancheti Hospital — a progression of exercises designed to help you safely build on the strength and movement developed in the earlier phases.

In this phase, we'll focus on more advanced movements targeting core strength, spinal stability, flexibility, balance, and overall muscle conditioning, while continuing to emphasise proper technique and controlled movement.

Progression should always be gradual and based on your symptoms, condition, strength, and stage of recovery. An exercise that is appropriate in Phase 4 may not be suitable during the earlier stages of back pain.

If you experience worsening pain, numbness, tingling, weakness, or pain travelling into your legs, consult an appropriate healthcare professional before continuing your exercise program.

Move better. Build strength. Progress with confidence.
