On the occasion of Guru Purnima, I am sharing my thoughts on what a true Guru means to us.

How do we recognise who our Guru is? A Guru is someone who shows us the right path when we feel lost, guides us through the challenges of life, and helps us come out of our problems with wisdom and clarity.

A true Guru not only teaches us, but also helps us understand ourselves and leads us towards a better and more meaningful life.

होली और ग्रहण का संयोग

इस साल त्योहारों का क्रम इस प्रकार है:
• होलिका दहन – 2 मार्च
• चंद्र ग्रहण – 3 मार्च
• रंगों वाली होली – 4 मार्च

3 मार्च 2026 के चंद्रग्रहण का समय (भारत में)

ज्योतिषीय पंचांग के अनुसार लगभग समय इस प्रकार माना जा रहा है:
• ग्रहण प्रारंभ – दोपहर लगभग 3:20 बजे
• पूर्ण ग्रहण – लगभग 4:30 बजे के आसपास
• ग्रहण समाप्त – लगभग 6:45–6:50 बजे

क्या न करें
• भोजन बनाना या खाना
• शुभ कार्य शुरू करना
• मूर्तियों को स्पर्श करना

क्या करना अच्छा माना जाता है
• मंत्र जप
• ध्यान या मेडिटेशन
• भगवान का नाम स्मरण
ग्रहण के समय कौन-सा दान करना शुभ माना जाता है

ज्योतिष में चंद्रमा मन और भावनाओं से जुड़ा माना जाता है, इसलिए चंद्र ग्रहण के समय ये दान शुभ माने जाते हैं:
• चावल
• दूध
• सफेद कपड़े
• चीनी
• चांदी
• गरीबों को भोजन

दान को मन की शांति और कर्म शुद्धि से जोड़ा जाता है।

दशहरा सिर्फ़ रावण दहन का त्योहार नहीं है…
ये अपने अंदर छुपे दस अहंकारों को जलाने का दिन है।

रावण के दस सिर, दरअसल हमारे ये दस दोष हैं –

1️⃣ काम – अनियंत्रित वासना
2️⃣ क्रोध – गुस्से की आग
3️⃣ लोभ – तृष्णा का प्यासा मन
4️⃣ मोह – असक्ति की जकड़न
5️⃣ मद – घमंड का बोझ
6️⃣ मत्सर – जलन और ईर्ष्या
7️⃣ अहंकार – ‘मैं ही सब हूँ’ का भ्रम
8️⃣ अन्याय – गलत रास्ते पर चलना
9️⃣ असत्य – झूठ और कपट
🔟 अज्ञान – आत्मज्ञान का अभाव

सच्चा विजयदशमी वही है…
जब हम इन दस सिरों को अपने भीतर से मिटाएँ।
