Poor root canal treatment can lead to infection in the bone which may get converted into a cyst if not treated in time. This young patient who had gotten an inadequate root canal treatment done in his past led to an infected cyst in his upper front tooth. So the treatment began with correcting the root canals followed by peri-apical surgery to remove the cyst.
