Interesting Case
ओपीडीमध्ये गेल्या 8 महिन्यांपासून पोटदुखी, भूक मंदावणे आणि जुलाब असलेला तरुण पुरुष. लहान आतड्याच्य जुलाब संशय. हिमोग्रामने इओसिओनोफिलिया दर्शविला. स्टूलने एस्केरिस (परजीवी संसर्ग) ची ओवा दर्शविली. गॅस्ट्रोस्कोपीने D 1 इरोशन दर्शविली. लहान आतड्याच्या परजीवी संसर्गाचे निदान. परजीवी विरोधी औषधांनी उपचार केले आणि बरे झाले. त्याची जुनाट लक्षणे बरी झाल्याने रुग्ण खूप आनंदी होता. 🙏

Interesting Case
A young male with abdominal pain, anorexia and altered bowel habits for last 8 months presented in OPD. Clinical suspicion was Small bowel diarrhoea. Labs were sent. Hemogram showed Eosinophilia. Stool showed Ova of ascaris ( parasitic infection). Gastroscopy revealed D1 Erosions. Diagnosed with parasitic infection of small intestine. Treated with anti parasitic drugs and became alright. Patient was very happy as his chronic symptoms got cured. 🙏
