Delivery ke baad weight kitna kam hota hai? 🤱⚖️ Many new mothers expect the pregnancy weight to disappear immediately, but that's not how the body works. After delivery, some weight is lost naturally from the baby, placenta, amniotic fluid, and changes in blood volume. However, the remaining pregnancy weight usually takes time to come down. Your body has just gone through nine months of pregnancy and childbirth—it needs time to recover. Don't compare your postpartum journey with someone else's. Focus on nutritious food, adequate rest, breastfeeding if you choose, and gradual physical activity after medical clearance. ❤️

Pregnancy mein baal na dhone se miscarriage ho jayega? 😳🤰 **Bilkul nahi!** This is a common pregnancy myth with no scientific basis. Not washing your hair does not cause miscarriage, affect your baby's growth, or harm your pregnancy. During pregnancy, you can continue your normal hair-washing routine based on your comfort and hygiene. What actually matters is eating a balanced diet, taking prescribed supplements, attending regular check-ups, and following your doctor's advice. Pregnancy already comes with enough worries, so let's not add unnecessary myths to the list! ❤️ **Science ko follow karein, myths ko nahi.**

Second trimester often feels a little easier. The nausea may settle, your appetite may return, and your baby's growth starts picking up pace. So, what should you eat? 🤰🥗

Think **protein + fiber + healthy fats + plenty of micronutrients**.

Include eggs or other protein sources, dal, paneer, curd, vegetables, seasonal fruits, whole grains, nuts, seeds, and adequate fluids. Iron, calcium, Vitamin D, folate, iodine, and other nutrients become increasingly important, so continue the supplements prescribed by your doctor.

Don't worry about complicated diets. A varied, balanced Indian diet can provide excellent nutrition during pregnancy.

And remember: your nutritional needs are personal, so discuss your diet with your doctor or dietitian. ❤️

First trimester mein sirf kya khana hai ye important nahi hai—**kya avoid karna hai, ye bhi jaana zaroori hai!** 🤰

Avoid or limit foods that can increase pregnancy risks, such as **unpasteurized milk and dairy products, raw or undercooked eggs and meat, undercooked seafood, and high-mercury fish**. Wash fruits and vegetables thoroughly and be careful with food hygiene.

Alcohol should be completely avoided during pregnancy. Caffeine should also be limited according to your doctor's advice.

And one important reminder: don't blindly follow pregnancy food restrictions passed down through generations. Not every traditional warning has a medical basis.

**Pregnancy mein facts follow karein, fears nahi.** ❤️

First trimester mein kya khana chahiye? 🤰🥗

The first few weeks of pregnancy are incredibly important, but nausea, vomiting, and food aversions can make eating difficult. Don't worry about eating a perfect diet every single day. Focus on small, frequent, nutritious meals.

Include **protein, fruits, vegetables, whole grains, dairy or suitable alternatives, nuts and seeds**, and plenty of fluids. Folic acid is especially important during early pregnancy, so take your prescribed supplement regularly.

If nausea is severe, don't force large meals. Small portions more frequently may be easier to manage.

Remember, pregnancy nutrition is about **quality, balance, and consistency**, not eating for two. ❤️

Not every pregnancy develops where it should. One rare and potentially serious type of ectopic pregnancy is a **cornual pregnancy**, where the pregnancy implants in the uterine corner near the opening of the fallopian tube.

Because this area can stretch significantly before symptoms appear, diagnosis may sometimes be challenging. If the pregnancy continues to grow there, the risk of serious internal bleeding increases.

That’s why **early pregnancy evaluation and ultrasound are so important**, especially if you have pain, bleeding, or a history of ectopic pregnancy or tubal surgery.

Early diagnosis can make a huge difference. Never ignore unusual symptoms in early pregnancy. ❤️

Planning a pregnancy with a submucosal fibroid? 🤰 It’s worth discussing this with your gynecologist before trying to conceive.

Submucosal fibroids grow toward the inside of the uterine cavity and can sometimes interfere with implantation or increase the risk of fertility problems and pregnancy complications. But having a fibroid does not automatically mean you cannot have a healthy pregnancy.

The size, number, exact location, symptoms, and effect on the uterine cavity all matter. Your doctor may recommend an ultrasound, saline sonography, hysteroscopy, or other evaluation before deciding on treatment.

The key is simple: plan first, understand the fibroid, and then choose the right approach for you. ❤️

Have you been told that an anterior placenta means your baby isn’t moving enough? 🤰 Not necessarily! An anterior placenta is attached to the front wall of the uterus and can act like a soft cushion, making your baby’s kicks feel less intense, especially in the early months. It does not mean your baby is unhealthy. However, if you notice a significant decrease in movements after they have become regular, don’t ignore it. Contact your doctor immediately. Every kick matters, and your baby’s movements are an important sign of their well-being.

Have you noticed that many new mothers cover their head after delivery? 🤱 This is a common cultural practice in many Indian families. It is often believed to protect the mother from cold, help her recover, and provide comfort during the postpartum period. While covering the head itself is not a medical requirement, keeping the mother warm, well-rested, hydrated, and well-nourished is important for recovery. If the practice is comfortable and doesn’t interfere with health or breastfeeding, there’s generally no harm in following it. Let’s respect traditions while also understanding the science behind postpartum care.

What does an average day in an OBGYN OPD actually look like? 👩‍⚕️❤️

It starts with a room full of different stories. One patient may be coming in for a routine pregnancy check-up, another may be struggling with infertility, while someone else may have questions about periods, PCOS, menopause, or an unexpected health concern.

Every consultation is different. Some days are busy, some are emotionally challenging, and some end with the happiest news a couple has been waiting to hear.

But behind every consultation is one simple goal: **listen carefully, explain clearly, and provide the right care.**

This is a glimpse into a regular day in my world! 🩺
