Breaking her plateau and finally seeing 66 kg on the scale felt huge.

So did lifting heavier, running 5Ks and realising that her body was capable of so much more.

This is how Surbhi rebuilt her health after pregnancy. At one point, even losing a kilo took weeks but she kept showing up, and with the right guidance, started understanding her body and nutrition better.

Today, she’s not only stronger herself, but also empowers other women to take better care of themselves.

Can losing just one hour of sleep every night set off a domino effect of diabetes, fatty liver, and heart disease?

With lost sleep, your stress hormone, cortisol, can go up & your body stays in a more “alert” mode, almost like it is running on pressure.

When this happens, your muscles may not use blood sugar as well as they should.

So instead of sugar moving into the muscles for energy, more of it can stay in the bloodstream.

Poor sleep can also increase inflammation inside the body.

Over time, this combination i.e., higher stress hormones, more inflammation, and poorer sugar control can quietly increase the risk of problems like type 2 diabetes, fatty liver, and heart disease.

Simply, getting 7–9 hours of good-quality sleep is one of the most important things you can do for your metabolism and long-term health.

Six years of stopping, restarting and trying again.

For Savi, this journey was about finding her way back to herself after facing some of the toughest phases of her life.

With consistent support and structure, she lost 12 kg. But the bigger change was how she began to feel. Physically stronger, emotionally balanced and much more in control of her health.

Today, she feels like a different person and loves one compliment the most: Being called her son’s sister!

High-dose synthetic supplements can act like drugs in the body, creating unexpected risks.

Large studies show that high‑dose vitamin E supplements (usually 400 IU/day or more) are linked to about a 22% higher chance of stroke and a 17% higher chance of prostate cancer compared with taking no supplement or lower doses.

Biologically, it may interfere with normal blood clotting and increase internal cell stress, which can disturb important body and hormone functions.

In simple terms, these changes may disturb the body’s normal balance.

For some people, this could increase the risk of bleeding-related problems.

In susceptible men, it may also create an environment where tumour development becomes more likely over time.

Vitamin E from foods is generally safe, but high‑dose supplementation is not risk‑free.

More is not better, and dosing should be guided by clear deficiency or clinical indication, not assumptions about “antioxidant protection.”

I started this journey because I wasn’t taking care of myself the way I should have.

At 80 kg, I didn’t just want to get fitter and be healthy. I began with trial and error, but things changed once I started understanding nutrition, tracking my calories and training with more structure. In a year, I sustainably lost 18 kg.

This positive change also encouraged my wife to take her fitness more seriously, and most importantly, helped me become the role model I always wanted to be for my son.

A single metabolic shift can rewrite your whole reproductive biology.

In a study involving 71,000 men, researchers found that higher BMI was linked to lower semen volume, fewer s***m, and weaker s***m movement.

Compared with men in the normal BMI range, men with obesity had, on average, 19.56 million fewer s***m in total.

Overweight men also showed declines, including a 0.08 ml reduction in semen volume and a 2.91% drop in progressive motility.

There’s a clear pattern: as BMI goes up, s***m quality goes down.

These effects were seen not only in infertile men, but also in men from the general population.

Maintaining a healthy weight may help protect s***m quantity and quality over time.

Sometimes, putting in more effort isn’t the answer. You need to know where that effort is going.

For years, Mishty kept trying different workouts and diets, hoping something would finally work.

Even while dealing with fibroids and ovarian cysts, she didn’t stop wanting to become stronger.
What changed was the structure.

With the right training, personalised nutrition and consistent guidance, she came down to 52 kg and started seeing the progress she was waiting for.
And this isn’t the finish line. It’s only her midway transformation.

Can “good” genes alone keep you safe?

Large studies show that poor nutrition, insufficient sleep, smoking, alcohol, and physical inactivity together are linked to a markedly higher risk of premature death.

The risk is up to 78% higher when multiple unhealthy habits cluster, even after accounting for genetics and other factors.

Mechanistically, these behaviors drive chronic low-grade inflammation, oxidative stress, endothelial dysfunction, and insulin resistance, which accelerate atherosclerosis, fatty liver, and metabolic dysregulation.

Over time, this raises blood pressure, worsens blood sugar control, and increases visceral fat, the key pathways to heart disease, stroke, and diabetes.

Conversely, meeting multiple healthy lifestyle factors (no smoking, regular activity, better diet, adequate sleep, moderate/no alcohol) is associated with 40–60% lower mortality, even in people at high genetic risk.

Thus, genes load the gun; lifestyle pulls the trigger. Daily choices still shape longevity.

I was putting in the effort, but at 85 kg, I still felt stuck and unsure of what I was doing wrong.

That’s when I realised I needed more than effort. I needed structure. Once I started managing my nutrition, training and recovery better, the changes followed, especially in my mindset.

I became more patient, stopped chasing quick fixes and learned to trust the process.

I didn’t realise it then, but I really needed this change. Today, I know what it takes to keep moving forward.
