Mental health isn't about reaching a perfect destination.

It's about showing up for yourself every day even on the difficult days.

Some days progress looks like confidence and growth.

Other days it looks like asking for help, taking a break, setting boundaries, or simply getting through the day.

And that's okay.

Mental wellbeing is built through small, consistent steps: ✨ Being kind to yourself ✨ Celebrating small wins ✨ Seeking support when needed ✨ Taking time to rest ✨ Continuing forward, one step at a time

Remember: healing isn't linear, and growth doesn't happen overnight.

If you're struggling, know that reaching out for support is a sign of strength, not weakness. 🤝

Some of the most powerful tools for a growing brain don't come with a hefty price tag.

"Doctor, mera baccha jhooth bolta hai. Kuch problem hai kya?"

I hear this in clinic more often than you'd think.
And my answer always surprises parents.

Lying, especially between ages 3-6, is not a behaviour problem.
It's actually a sign that your child's brain is developing normally.
To tell even a simple lie, a child's brain has to process reality, imagine an alternate version, predict what they'd believe, AND control their expression all at the same time.

That's not bad behaviour. That's complex brain processing.
Now obviously don't encourage it.

But the way you RESPOND to lying decides whether your child becomes more honest or just a better liar.

Swipe through for the brain science + what actually works.
Tag a parent who panics when their kid lies. They need this.

80% of childhood injuries happen at home.

Not on the road. Not at school.

At home ... the one place parents feel their child is safest.

I made this checklist from the cases I've personally treated.
The toddler who drank phenyl.
The baby who pulled a hot pan off the stove.
The 3-year-old who fell from a baby walker and had a skull fracture.
None of these parents were careless.
They just didn't know what to look for.

Swipe. Screenshot each slide. Do a walk-through of your house this weekend with this checklist in hand.

And if everything's already in place — forward this to a new parent who hasn't done it yet.

You baby-proofed the plug points.

You gated the stairs.
But what about the bottle of phenyl under the kitchen sink?

Every month, I see children in the ER not because of a disease, but because they swallowed something that was sitting in plain sight at home.

These aren't rare chemicals.
They're things you bought from the supermarket last week.

Swipe through this carousel. If even ONE of these is within your toddler's reach right now, move it. Today. Not tomorrow.

30 seconds of childproofing can prevent 5 days in the ICU.

White. Shiny. Looks exactly like candy to a toddler.

And it’s sitting in thousands of Indian pooja rooms within a child’s reach.

Camphor is not harmless.
It is a neurotoxin.

Even a small amount swallowed by a child can cause:
• Seizures
• Vomiting
• Brain toxicity
• Liver damage
• Coma in severe cases

And the scariest part?

There is NO antidote.

❌ What NOT to do:
• Don’t induce vomiting
• Don’t give milk or water

Both can worsen absorption.

✅ What TO do:
• Rush to the nearest ER immediately
• Carry the camphor packet/product
• Note the time of ingestion

Prevention is simple:
LOCK IT AWAY.

Not on a shelf.
Not on the counter.
A locked cabinet.

⏳ This hourglass is the most important thing I want parents to see today.

The window of 0–5 years is when your child's brain is most receptive to learning and healing.

Neuroplasticity is highest. Interventions work best. Progress happens fastest.

When a neurological condition interrupts this window - early diagnosis isn't optional. It's urgent.

Signs to watch:
🔴 No words by 16 months
🔴 Loss of milestones already achieved
🔴 Seizures (even one)
🔴 Abnormal movements or balance

Don't wait for the sand to run out.

Every week I see kids in my clinic whose brain development has been affected by things parents thought were "harmless."

Not medicines. Not diseases.
Everyday products. Everyday habits.

The problem isn't that parents don't care.
The problem is that nobody told them.

Nobody told them that a walker delays development.
Nobody told them that screen time before age 2 rewires attention circuits.
Nobody told them that the cheapest, most powerful brain development tool is just - outdoor play.

So here's the rule I give every parent who walks into my clinic:
Less screen. More floor. More outdoor. More YOU.

Your child's brain doesn't need expensive gadgets.
It needs your time and real-world interaction.

One parent seeing this at the right time can change everything.
